After we pick you up from your hotel in Kiruna, our night journey starts at our base in Abisko.

We’ll make a fire and prepare dinner in our Sami tent or our cabin, cook reindeer (or vegetable on request) for you.

Abisko National Park is the best place in the world to see the northern lights because of its blue hole and micro climate. We have the most cloud free nights compared to other places in the Arctic Circle.

We are famous for driving long distances to find the northern lights. It doesn’t matter if there are clouds over Abisko, we can take you to Kiruna’s arctic forest or even to coast of Norway!

Your guide will tell you many stories about the northern lights and Vikings and also we will take pictures and videos which we’ll send to you within 3 days after the tour.

If you bring your own camera, we will help you set it up to get the best shots.

The bus is always heated, we serve hot drinks and make a camp fire for you to keep warm.

After tour, we will drive back to Kiruna.

The whole area of Abisko is in my opinion overestimated. It does not have any particular beauty of a village or a town. It is quite noisy from all the cargo trains passing by.

We book two excursions with Visit Abisko: dog sledding and the Sami experience, which actually also including a bit of reindeer sledding. Both excursions where great. The tours were organised well.

We didn't go on any specific tours but bumped into a "Visit abisko" car and a man named Stephan at the Kiruna train station. What a hero! We and another couple hade multiple problems with SJ and a broken train, and got a ride with him back to Abisko touristcenter when he saw we had train tickets. With service-minded and problem solving guides like him I would not hesitate a minute to look into their excursions program! Tonight we will for sure have a look into their activities to book something fun and interesting! Thanks, golden star for this company!

Really nice and kind staff. Well-equipped kitchen. Great tours options. And great location next to the water where you can see northern lights!
