Nice quiet waterfall. As another comment mentioned, it is in a residential neighborhood and isn't a huge deal.. if you enjoy waterfalls and photo opts, go!!

La Chorrera is the second busiest city in Panama. It's a popular place to live for foreigners who wish to avoid the heavy traffic and higher living costs of Panama City.

There are NO SHOPPING MALLS here. There are no tourist things to do here. There is one little waterfall but it's not worth the travel just to see this.

There are NO FANCY RESTAURANTS here. They is local cuisine and it's nothing to rave about.

I live in La Chorrera and I've been here for over three years. This isn't a tourist town, there are in fact very few tourists (if any) that are here. If they are then it's because they're lost!

Arrijan which is between Panama City and La Chorrera has Westland Mall ( a small mall) and a new Trampoline park (due to open on the 16th of January 2017). It also has another mall set to open in 2017 but I don't know when exactly and a cinema.

If you work in Panama City then think again about moving here. The traffic getting to and from Panama City is crazy! My husband has to leave at 4am to get there in time for a 7am start. If you leave later than 4.30pm, then prepare for two hours to get home.If you leave later the 4.30 am then it takes even longer than two hours to reach your destination.

POWER CUTS are common here, very common and I don't mean for just a few minutes. our last major power cut lasted 7 hours on Christmas day. Lights flicker on and off nearly everyday here.

WATER SHORTAGES - This has been a major problem but hopefully soon it will be a distant memory as a new water system is being built to handle the massive amounts of water used here. Recently we've had no major shortages just low pressure.

Animal problems - there are a lot of stray cats and dogs here. They are full of fleas and they're starving! it's a horrible site.

If you're thinking of moving here then make sure you speak Spanish. They don't speak English here. Many claim they do but it's a really low low level.

Power and water bills are really low here. We have a three bedroom house and we pay around $5 for waste collection per month, $5-10 on water and around $70 on electricity per month.

La Chorrera has a local hospital and many takeaway places and big DIY stores. It has a lot to offer someone looking to move here but as a tourist..... skip it and visit somewhere prettier like Valle De Anton.
