We visited to fill in some time on our last day in Perth and did not have any great expectations having visited massive aviation museums in England. It was very surprisingly interesting to spend time reading the descriptions and stories, as well as looking at...More

Wow. We spent hours here. So much information and so many exhibits. The exhibits were well kept and you could see in many of them. The videos were great too.

An impressive array of aircraft and fascinating displays with plenty of material to explain what conditions the aircraft operated under. Appeals to young and old - young children were fascinated too. Well worth a visit.

Day one (Thursday) is the day you arrive, and if your flight arrives on time, and then clear customs/immigration and check into your hotel, there's not much time left in the day to do all the things you want to do. Where are you staying? I am suggesting the following as if you are staying in the CBD. So on Day one, I suggest, to get the free CAT bus up to Kings Park and see the views, and the lights come on when the sun settles. Then maybe get a cab into Northbridge for a bite to...More

Thanks a lot for your comments. My husband loves planes especially those from the WW2. Not sure how's best to fit it into the schedule though due to its location. We're not really interested in art, so i guess we might give the art gallery a miss. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. I planned for Rottnest on day 3 which is Thursday as I'm concern that there might be a bigger crowd on Friday compared to Thursday. What do you think? We're planning to get the bayseeker service in Rottnest so...More
