Had a great time learning about Harris' Great Ruby Rush (Hoax). The museum is very well done for a small town. The water tower is incredible and the taxidermy in the natural history portion of the museum is truly impressive. The best part however, was the staff; funny, entertaining and knowledgeable.

This is a diamond in the rough. From the authentic water tower, to the train caboose, this museum is full of history. Inside you will find a lot of local arrow heads, taxidermy exhibits, and artifacts from the surrounding area. Learn about how Harris became a "Boom Town" with the Ruby Rush era. Lots of neat things to see!

Drove by this place for many years always see the old water tower for the old steam trains from the highway The story about how they thought they found Rubys started a Ruby rush there was quite interesting The museum had a lot of local artifacts which were nice The water tower was cool and had a lot of interesting facts about all the trains ran through the area it doesn't take much of your time I was there for about a half an hour I was very interested a nice place to visit. So next time you see that old water tower at Harris stop in your enjoy your visit
