The citadel is in good shape, offers great views and a nice piece of history. It also has some artifacts displayed and if you have binoculars you could enjoy the view even more. Really nice place and we'll kept.

If you plan to visit Hunedoara or Deva, you really need to get to the Malaiesti Citadel. The citadel was restored a few years ago and there are guides to help you understand its history. Also, the view from all the citadel's windows is amazing...More

A medieval fortress that deserves to be visited only if you have something else to visit in the area. A few minutes away from there is also the ruins of the feudal fortress of Salasu de Sus.
