On a clear day this short 500 meter walk to the Rock Lookout is well worth it if you are in Mulgoa. Not for young children there are no fences or guard rails once you get to this high up position. For adults the easy,...More

Just a short drive south of Penrth is this hidden gem. Spectacular vistas and breathtaking views of this section of the Nepean River await you if you're prepared to venture to this quiet and somewhat isolated area near Mulgoa. From the car park it's only...More

Stumbled across this on the way back to Sydney from our trip to The Blue Mountains. Great views and no barriers on this one! Probably wouldn't take children to this one but we really enjoyed the views from the lookout!

Wonderful views across to the mountains and over the river. There is a longer walk you can do to a second lookout but make sure you take some water with you.

I can mimic a lot of what the others have said. Limited facilities you will need to bring water and food. Take the left hand path at the fork just after the car park and it's only a short walk. Well worth the walk. Stunning

Took the kids for a bit of a stroll.... very nice views but I'd left my phone in the car so no pictures from me. Plenty of large flat surfaces were you could sit for a while and just take it all in. Sadly there...More

Hi Riss11, Do not take your dog to the lookout, as pk and Louise said before, the lookout is located close to the Blue Mountains and a national reserve. Cheers, Rod
