This fort is good to visit in the morning because the weather might be more convenient. The view of the top is very beautiful, but there are many stairs so be sure to have good shoes. Also remember bringing enough water with you.

It takes about 2 hrs to see the Daulatabad fort. However, the fort is built in a way that it seems impregnable. It is close to the city and worth seeing. Carry water for the 2 mile hike

The design and construction of this Fort is unimaginable. I have yet to see a fort so strategically designed. The Tuglaquabad Fort or the Kumbhalgarh Fort may be massive in construction, but they are no match to the Daulatabad Fort in strategic detailing.
