All staff are fantastic and helpful. Had a hot stones massage and manicure from Katie and really enjoyed it! Such a relaxing environment and afternoon tea was gorgeous

Helpful and Welcoming Staff
Aug 2021
Stayed to visit family nearby and enjoyed it very much. The staff - in particular Geraint and Erica - were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was friendly and welcoming. Our room was a small double but was easily big enough, with a king size bed and space to move around. Everything was clean and felt very Covid-safe. The Spa was small but nice - shame it needed work for the last 2 days of our stay but this prompted a visit to the gym, which is large and very well equipped. We had dinner with family and the food was excellent. All in all, a very happy stay and one we wouldn't hesitate to repeat.

A great pity about the Spa pool etc experience
Aug 2021 • Couples
I booked a spa day for myself and my daughter. I used to come here regularly before lockdown. The highlights were the afternoon tea which was delicious, the friendly and professional attitude of the staff and the amazing massage!
We were disappointed though to find that the aromatherapy steam room, jacuzzi, the two drench/water flow features weren’t working. The place seemed strangley dark as well as more than half the pin lights and spotlights weren’t working either.

Favourite spa!!
Feb 2020
This spa was my second Spa that I ever visited and has been a firm favourite ever since, I am a regular spa goer and have to say i compare all others to here. I usually go here with my girlfriends for a ladies day, but as I have ravaged about this to my partner for so long her brought a Christmas gift experience for 2 and I decided to take him.

I usually go mid week and certainly did see a difference in the level of service provided when we went on a Saturday. It was busy when we arrived and certainly didn't get the chilled composed welcome that I have experienced before, but it was busy. The changing rooms are compact but have all you need, laundry area, lockers that are secure, toilet, shower facilities, hairdryer and spin machine to dry your swimwear.elmis toileties available to use as well which is awesome.
Provided towels, robe and slippers if having treatments. There is a sauna room, aromatherapy steam room, pool and hydrotherapy pool. Again all compact great in the week but found it a little over crowded at the weekend.

Treatments were great as usual and felt really relaxed afterwards, partner didnt get the same feeling as I did so was a bit disappointed. The relaxation suit usually great, was again disappointing at the weekend, noisy people in there, people being shown around by staff talking loudly. Complementarity drinks couldn't be had as there were no clean cups or glasses. I also heard a lady complain about mould from the cold juice dispenser. This was especially disappointing as the last time I was there in 2019 I also made a similar complaint so to see it happen again.
We went back to the hydrotherapy pool, which at night is beautifully lit up with colour changing lights providing a lovely setting.

We checked into the hotel, staff friendly, room had a nice view, however our door was directly opposite the hall door which wasn't ideal. Room was ok, comfy , tea, coffee making facilities, towels and elmis toiletries. Stairwell to rooms was disappointing as we had to go past the cleaners room, so didn't quite have that luxury feel.

Afternoon tea at the terrace was lovely and super filling, the lady serving was great and by far the most helpful and welcoming staff member it's a shame I didn't catch her name, totally worth the money.

The brasserie, after an issue with our booking the front of house staff member sorted this out straight away for us the food was amazing!!! Small portions so you will definately need all courses if your hungry but best tasting food I've had in a while. Bit expensive but it was a treat. They also didn't have some things on the menu which was disappointing but the service was great.

Breakfast was a buffet style, cooked, eggs Benedict, fish available freshly cooked. Cereal, yogurt, toast, croissants, fruit ,juice tea and coffee. Was ample.

Parking is free as well.

Overall had a lovely visit, I probably wouldn't spend to stay there again unless there was an amazing offer but certainly would eat and spa there again.

Was OK for midweek relaxations
Mar 2020 • Friends
Went with a friend as part of a SAP day that did include 2 treatments and a light lunch.
The treatment a back massage and facial was really great and I only can recommend it.
Afterwards we had our light lunch and is was OK nothing special to rave about.
Now the spa area the changing room was quit small and did not really leave a spa impression.
The pool and the hydrotherapy pool was small but quit nice with a few seating options around it.
The steamroom was OK and did what it's supposed to do now the sauna is a glass cube meaning everyone in the spa area can watch you sweating. Not very relaxing in my opinion.
The spa area is quit compact and I can see it becoming quit packed on busy days but during the week it was OK with just 5 guests in there.

Our fav spa and lunch day
Feb 2020 • Friends
One of (if not our favourite) spa and lunch day. It’s just sooooo relaxing here from the minute you walk in until you leave. We had the Thai Lunch, the Thai green curry and the sea bass 👍👍 the chocolate brownie with so much sauce 👏 but uhhhh the £7 deconstructed passion fruit and vanilla cheesecake yes was delicious but really the size? Must have used a teaspoon instead of a good size dessert spoon to present it 😩 but you still deserve a 5/5 restaurant review for the food, great service from uniformed, smiley, helpful staff and the Thai decor and the outdoor balcony area with outdoor heating here is lovely. Could see into the clean kitchen 👏 and a 5/5 for the spa with a shout out to the helpful receptionist and Laura for treatments. Lift available up to the restaurant and spa 👏

Day spa treatment, good gym pool sauna and steam room facilities. Unfortunately hydrotherapy pool not available that day. Good relaxation area. Had a one course lunch, which was very good. Treatments were excellent. Already booked another spa day for January.

We booked a spa day as a birthday treat, so were hoping for a great day upon arrival we were given towels, robes and slippers however when we went to put the robes on they had holes in and looked like they should have been binned long ago. The pool was disappointing being small and dark and with inadequate seating. That said the hydrotherapy pool was great and the treatments were very good as was the relaxation room. Would I go again probably not.

Good massage and spa
Aug 2019
A group of us visited the Kinspa as a group for a spa afternoon. We paid for a afternoon spa pass and a massage each. The organisation of times for the treatments was a bit hapdash and there was a fair amount of confusion, which could partly be put down to the way it was booked but there seemed to be a lot of confusion between staff. However, they did manage to squeeze a treatment for one extra person in and the massage itself was lovely, we liked the extra touch of the sorbet in the tranquility suite after. The jacuzzi pool is great and the spa is clean and well laid out but we were disappointed that the sauna was not working on our visit. The tranquility suite is lovely after a treatment and offers lovely views with a bit of peace and quiet. Overall we had a lovely afternoon and would consider doing the same again.
