Amazing view and beautiful nature. Prepare for a true hiking experience with narrow paths and sometimes overgrown plants and trees. The hill is rather steep from time to time. You have got to pay attention to the kids.
There are multiple options to reach the basalt organs and the cave, prepare your favourite 😉

One of the big vulcanic mountains in the area. There is several well signed hiking trail around and across it, so pick one (yellow, red or blue), follow the path, and see the wonder of nature and the beautiful panoramic view.

Was recommended this fab vegan tapas home restaurant in the hills. Beautiful food, all organic & homegrown in their own permaculture garden. Wonderful evening with excellent wines. Only open Thursday to Sunday & you need to book by calling ahead on 3091030312.

Szent György-hegy is one of the busiest tourist place in Tapolca-basin. The 415 m high witness-hill offers a beautiful sight even from the "mountain's skirts", but the panorama from the top it's near 360°. On the way up you can admire at close quarters the 30-meter height and 1.5 meters in diameter reaching basaltic columns ("basalt organ pipes"). The mountain is also accessible from direction Hegymagas and Raposka. To the "mountain's skirts" you can drive up from both direction. Unfortunately, finding the tour signs are sometimes quite difficult, you should get a tour map. The round will take 3-4 hours, get drink and food with you.
