Took a cab here from Brest for a day of biking and exploration. We rented bikes and followed the various cycle routes around the park. There are different trails to follow depending on your thirst for adventure, we took a 16 km ride over the...More

Visiting Belorussia together with my boyfriend we added Belavezha Forest into our trail as it is very famous place in the country that must be seen. We spent only one day there and I would say it's worth it. There are a few options how...More

I visited the park in the late season (octobre). It proved to be very difficult to get even the most basis information. OK. I could buy a ticket but only after a walk trough the animal gardens and at the brink of giving up I...More

The poor animals. I'm not a big animal lover, but this was heartbreaking. The bear was held in a cage smaller than our living room and the wolfs where kept in a small open field infront of a herd of literally howling kids.

An hour's drive from Brest, this park has a replica of an old farm house, makes vodka and has a zoo (unusual for a national park). The zoo has two beautiful brown bears in small damp concrete and steel cages.

The forest isn't ancient as I have seen written in places. Essentially it is a large pine forest with some oak and silver birch thrown in. Bus from Brest costs 3.81 BYN, and bike hire for 3 hours cost 13.00 BYN, but two hours to...More

In this review I talk about the Belarusian part of the Bialowieza Forest! I've been there so many times, I think more than 10. I see how this place develops and I am sure a successful future waits it. I adore it! If you are...More

Belovezhskaya forest may seem a great place with large expanses of forest, good places for cycling, with some museums, ethnographic places, etc. There is also high possibility to see some wild European forest animals – deers, boars and even bisons in the forests. For these...More
