This is an interesting series of locks on the Grand Union Canal and an amazing triple bridge where the canal goes over the railway and a road goes over the canal. Worth a visit

Walked through this area to a relatives gated community property. My guide was very knowledgeable of the site, explaining how it had operated and how the area is soon to be upgraded. Had no ldea it had docks, canals, railways and was so close to...More

I had to spend three hours sat at the lock reading the paper while my wife was at a seminar and it was probably the most relaxed I have been for ages. The redevelopment has ensured this peaceful environment.

This rapidly developing area of London is interesting to walk through and to observe it change. Moored canalboats are overlooked by residents of newly built apartments and town houses. I hope they co-exist happily.

This is a pleasant place to be, with lots of seating and cafes nearby. We carried on down the canal tow path which takes you through urban landscape on to countryside. It can get quite busy and you have to watch out for cyclists.

Working locks in modern built up area with plenty of seating area around to watch the narrow boats pass through the locks. In a way the locks look out of place here and are a surprise to find.
