Six couples booked the Sunset Cruise and nobody was disappointed! The whole experience was very professional and fun! You are first greeted and taken to a little cafe for safety information with some coffee and a little snack (nice touch) Now to the fun part......the boat was in great condition, and very clean! Some of the party went snorkeling, others stayed behind to start the party. The crew was very accommodating, Lilandy served us drinks on the upper level, while Francisco was was snorkeling with those who wanted that experience. Capt Eddy was excellent and Stanly was our floating bartender. Everyone commented on how much fun our day was, and the whole crew really ramped it up. I would not hesitate to rebook this company and highly recommend it! Great crew, great fun, great memories!

Trip to the Island is a great attraction, but is so informal that need to be regulated, There's is not a pier to go to the boat, so the boat come all the way to the beach and you need to jump to it,same way on the island, they take from a small boat to the bigger catamaran , but there's is not a passenger list,so in case of accident will be no records. And the crew , drink, dance and interact with the passengers with a level higher than normal relationship passenger/crew.. This is a bad report but need to be regulated, no member of the government show up, young crew ,with disrespect to the passengers ,often try to related to the passengers

Response from Boat Trips Punt... P, Eigenaar at Boat Trips Punta Cana
Responded Jul 24, 2018
Dear Mr. Guillermo, We are sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience, but we from "Boat trips Punta Cana" think you are confusing us with another boat trip company. We do not offer excursions to Saona Island, nor do we have a small boat to put passengers on a catamaran. For us safety comes first that is why we do have all the information of people who go on our excursion. Our trips go to the natural pool, an untouched beach and we do snorkeling in the beautiful waters of Bavaro. We hope you can reach out to the correct company that you were on that gave you this experience. Warm regards, Team Boat Trips Punta Cana

I have to mention the incredible staff in case you get the opportunity to meet these people.....Efua was the first one who greeted us when we arrived at Cap Cana. She was so nice and welcoming, providing us with beverages when we arrived at their store/restaurant. Our fishing guides, Franklin and Santos were fantastic...taking us to beautiful places for fishing and snorkeling. We even saw several dolphins along our way. They provided us with a very nice lunch, snacks and beverages throughout the day. The took pictures all along the way. The boat we were on was so clean and nice as well. When we completed our trip, Efua came back to meet us and take us back to their restaurant where they offered to have our fish cooked for us. The chef was Willie. He prepared the best snapper we have ever eaten!! They even had other items available to order for the members of my family that don't like fish. Efua and Willie provided such excellent service after our day on the boat. The restaurant was not even open at the time and they opened it up to make the amazing food and drinks for us. This was really a personalized trip...we all felt like they were there to make sure we had a great time, and we did. Highly recommend...well worth the money.

This trip was everything! Before we came to the Dominican Republic, I communicated with Jessica who gave me detailed information about the trip. All the information turned out to be correct. First of all she gave us a warm welcome in the Breakers Coffee shop and explained us everything about the trip. She then accompanied us to the beautiful boat where we were introduced to the captain and his assistant. We sailed to the beach and the natural pool and even did some inshore fishing. We caught a Dorado! Definetely the best boat trip I experienced!

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed after going on this trip. I had told them I wanted to INSHORE fish. No outriggers, planer boards, etc; just casting spinning rods in CALM water. I was assured by Jessica through email that would be no problem. Well, when we showed up, they put us on a smaller boat than I had paid for and didn't correct it until I pointed it out. I knew right away by the gear in the boat that we were not going spinning rod fishing. So, out we go to 6-8 foot seas. I caught a nice barracuda and then BARF! Sea sick! I tried to tell the crew the kind of fishing I wanted but there was a slight language barrier and honestly by that point, I just wanted calm water. I will say that I did enjoy the captain and crew. They were fun and did whatever we asked them. They tried to be accommodating. It seemed like they were never relayed the information of what I was wanting to do so I certainly do not place the blame on them. They are the only reason I gave this trip 3 stars.
