Great wine tasting experience with really good introduction to the various white, red and sweet wines.

Some of the greatest wines we have ever tastes from Tuscany. Especially Leopoldo 2021 (red) and Vino Santo 2015 (sweet) was exceptionally good

We stayed here as a family of 5 for a week in one of the apartments. Our 2 bedroom apartment was adequately furnished with a living area, kitchen/dining room, one en suite bedroom and another bedroom with a separate bathroom. The best part though was the private outdoor space with table, chairs and even a couple of deck chairs, all suitably positioned so we could benefit the stunning views across the vineyard and beyond.
The premises also have a much welcome swimming pool set in a lawned area at the back of the property, again offering great far reaching views of the Tuscan countryside.
There were a couple of supermarkets within a 10 minute drive from the property which enabled us to pick up the daily essentials, one must note though that Italian supermarkets in this area operate at very different times to those we are used to in the UK. Best to check with the hosts for advice before making a fruitless journey.
The area is great for exploring with lakes, castles, churches and quaint local villages all within a short drive.
One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the wine tour and subsequent traditional Tuscan meal put on by our hosts Mauro and Marta, the wine tasting and explanation how the wines are created was most informative as was the tour of the cellars. This was followed by a sumptuous four course meal accompanied by a selection of their wines, you also get the opportunity to revisit the winery at anytime to purchase the wines, honey, olive oil and pasta at very reasonable prices.
Overall a great holiday experience in a stunning location which was well received by our family, thank you all at Fattoria Santa Vittoria.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to learn of this winery from the owner of our cottage and then from recommendations on trip advisor.

First off Mauro and Marta, husband and wife, were a treasure. Mauro gave us a tour of his winery with tastings of their superb wines. He shared the history of the area and it was fascinating. It does not have the commercialized feel of the huge wineries. Although make no mistake, this is the real deal.

We also booked a wine pairing dinner prepared by Mauro and his wife Marta. One of the best meals we had in our travels. From bruschetta, local meats and cheese paired with wine and that special Vin Santo! Fresh homemade wheat papperdelle made with wheat from their fields and an unbelievable homemade sorbet...mauro’s recipe. All of this to be experienced under a grapevine arbor with views and sunset! We even met 2 of their sweet cats!

Such gracious, talented people that made you feel at home. Highly recommend!

Our travel agent booked this as part of a 2-winery tour. My husband and I were so lucky to have a private tour with Claudio. We’ve been to many wineries in the States and love to learn about wines and the process, but we learned so much more with Claudio. Besides his knowledge, he is passionate about wine and Italy and life!
And happily, the wines were wonderful- bought a case to ship home and it’s been delightful sharing it with family. Would absolutely return.

Visiting Fattoria Santa Vittoria was, for me and my family, like something right out of a movie.

We were there on a chilly March day and the owner's son-in-law and a worker took us through the facility, explained how they make wine (in excellent English) and then set up a tasting like we've never experienced. Their warmth and friendliness took the chill right out of the air that day!

We lived in northern California for several years and loved touring the local wine country, but never experienced in the US what this crew offered: A full tasting of wines and olive oil (don't miss the oil) accompanied by fresh focaccia bread, homemade and local cheeses and a variety of local meats and prosciutto that will knock your socks off. The food was outstanding and in no way second to the vino.

Based on the generosity of the pours, which were really full glasses of wine, I recommend hiring a driver if at all possible - It's a truly worthwhile investment. Also, if they offer a wine you don't usually like, try it anyway, I promise you'll be surprised. HOWEVER, not nearly as surprised as when the price list comes out! In California, the price lists always seemed to make us wince and gulp. Here the most expensive bottle and this was some SERIOUSLY good wine (for reference my favorite varietals are Zinfandel, Amaraone and Pinot Grigio) was 16 euros. Most were much less. Because of other details, we couldn't bring home anything other than what we could fit in our suitcases and I was thoroughly cursing the airline carry-on restrictions that day. We bought a bottle of each offering and drank them during the trip, marveling at the outstanding quality of each. God, I miss it.

I hope you get a chance to go and that it's as wonderful an experience as what we enjoyed. This is truly the quintessential Tuscan wine tasting. If you like good wine, consider bringing a special suitcase so you can load it up for the return trip. I wish I had.

We visited few wineries during our trip in Tuscany, however, Fattoria Santa Vittoria was the best one! Claudio was a perfect host and made a very interesting tour through winery, talking about the production process and the history. We appreciate that it was honest, not snobbish (as most of the Chianti winery's we visited were) and the wine was perfect!
Also, Claudio gave us some great tips for our trip, what we really appreciate.
If we are back in Tuscany, we will definitely visit Fattoria Santa Vittoria once again.

In July we visited Fattoria Santa Vittoria to celebrate our son’s 30th birthday. We arranged to have a winery tour, a truffle hunting experience with Mauro and his dogs and lunch afterwards.

The wine tour and tasting were great and really informative. We loved the wines, especially the reds and of course the amazing vin Santo – the best we have tasted!
There is a good range of white, red and dessert wines, olive oil and pasta all available to buy at very reasonable prices.

The truffle hunt was such a fun experience, we fell in love with the two dogs - Nedo and Aura (sorry if this is not how they are spelt!).

Lunch was served in an amazing setting under a grapevine covered pergola overlooking the vineyards, magical! The food was prepared by Mauro himself and included the truffles we had found, and bread and pasta made from his own ground flour grown right there on the farm. Mauro is an amazing chef and the food was delicious, especially his pasta! Each course was accompanied by wines from his vineyard.

Thank you Mauro for your generosity and for such an amazing and memorable day!!

Wow, fabulous food, wine and tour. We have had many wine pared lunches, this was the best. Mauro is a wonderful chef. The food is amazing because most of it he produces then cooks, outstanding! After lunch Claudio gave us a excellent tour of the winery. Best winery in Tuscany. Best meal in Tuscany.
