About Kakadu Air Scenic Flights
Kakadu is spectacular to look at, but immensely more interesting when on a Kakadu Air flight you receive a running commentary about the things you see, and many that you can't. On fixed wing aircraft flights the commentary is researched, recorded and delivered by long term Kakadu experts, via headsets.

Absolutely fantastic. One of the best things I have done on my trip so far and the pilot was an absolute legend. It was so incredible to see Kakadu from the sky, as well as a close up if the waterfalls. 100% recommend!! Thanks again for the best day.

We loved our scenic 1 hour flight to see all the waterfalls in full glory. As we visited at the end of the wet season everything is closed so you really must take to the skies it is amazing. We booked for 4 people and had the chopper to ourselves for the flight. We opted for doors off and it really was spectacular. It’s $660 per person or you can do a cheaper scenic flight in a small plane but if you can afford it the chopper is the way to go.

From the moment I booked the 60 minute scenic flight the service I received from Kakadu Air Services was incredible. They were very clear with their communications leading up to the flight including great directions and email/SMS reminders. Upon arrival the reception staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The flight itself was magic. We viewed the escarpments of the area, circled over JimJim Falls and Twin Falls, and got a unique aerial view of the Mercure Crocodile hotel in Jabiru town. Special thanks to pilot Ben for his professional and friendly service, entertaining and informative commentary and for making the ride a smooth as possible. I can’t sugar coat how hot it was in the plane. I’m not one for motion sickness but this got my stomach a bit funny. Breathed through it and enjoyed the complimentary cold water they gave us. Even considering that I’d strongly recommend this tour!

We could only get on the sunset flight and are so glad this was the only option as Gunmal our pilot gave us such a good flight, stunning scenery and the waterfalls in full flow while our pilot skilfully looped around several times made this the scenic flight of a lifetime! Make sure you book a flight, it’s the only way to see this beautiful country.

Kakadu Air 30 minute flight is a must-do! It’s the most amazing experience and the best way to see as much as possible in an unforgettable 30 minutes. Josh our pilot was fantastic, he told us wonderful and amazing facts of the history behind Kakadu. Josh was friendly, personable, humorous and easy on the eye 😉 The flight path was beautiful and second to none. The aircraft was cute and comfortable. The take off and landing were smooth and effortless. Key travel tip, book before you go to avoid disappointment, although if you decide last minute put your name down for waitlist and it might be your lucky day, as it was ours! Huge thumbs up to Kakadu Air & Josh. 10/10!
