There is a short walk to a bird hide overlooking a wetlands area. The hide itself is well constructed and modern with pictorial and informative diagrams of the wetlands cycle. We saw very little wildlife.

The place is well sign posted and easy to get to. There are ramp take leads up into a Bird-hide/shelter and you can see plenty birds on and around the billabong if you go in the right season.

An easy walk from the car park to the hide on the edge of the wetland billabong. The hide was a good size and afforded great views of the birds feeding on the billabong. Some information on the back wall of the hide.

Stopped here for lunch during our last Kakadu visit. Lovely bird life and plenty of picnic tables. A recommended spot for a picnic, a walk, or just to watch nature.

Easy loop walk. Nice billabong. Saw a wild pig on our walk. Was a little nerve wracking with the kids worry about crocs and then the wild pig. But just made sure to stay well away from waters edge and out of the way of...More
