Peaceful place and have a good mood with tree and religional factor
Jun 2018 • Friends
It makes me feel peaceful. The cold air, lightly blown wind, tree shadow and good view to China-Vietnam border gate.

Worth to visit.

Quaint Little Temple near the Border
Nov 2017 • Friends
We were on our way to cross the border into China and stopped by for a few minutes. This temple has the status of a national relic and was built in the 18th century. Princess Lieu Hanh is worshiped here. Nice views of the river and Hekou, China. A couple of border markers and an awesome tree that is unknown to me are also located here. I might not make a special trip to come here but I would definitely stop by crossing the border.

Worth a visit when killing time waiting for trains
Nov 2016 • Friends
Needed to kill a few hours Lao cai waiting for the night train to Hanoi - worth a look especially as it's next to the boarder with China

Near China/Vietnam Border
Apr 2016 • Solo
We stopped here on our way back from the Bac Ha Market to Sapa to see the border crossing between Vietnam and China. It provided some photo opportunities on both sides of the border and an opportunity to visit the temple.

Lovely Temple next to China border
Jan 2016 • Family
We stopped to visit this temple in Lao Cai. It is literally next to the border with Mainland China. There is much cross border trading here . In 1979, China invaded Lao Cai for a brief time before retreating back to China. There is a long series of stairs to get up to the temple. The deity worshipped here is Princess Lieu Hanh. It is a national landmark. Spent 20 minutes here. Went in March, 2013
