The heritage sites in the world we’ve visited were very beautiful but super overcrowded. This Lan Ha bay Overnight trip is a way you can go outside of the crazy day tourist hours & city so I would recommend. The meals, services, schedule, activities, kayaking, swimming…were excellent!

Visited via a tour, boat was very quiet allowing us to enjoy the scenery and listen to the bird etc. Visited a few coves where we kayaked and swam. Water was very cold for me, a bit murky and has lots of corals etc so couldnt walk onto the beaches etc. But amazing, loved it.

Let's be honest. Everyone has heard of Halong Bay - but really the geography here is equally beautiful across many bays and hundreds of miles. Lan Ha bay is easily accessed from Cat Ba island and is accessible in many ways. We asked our hotel to book us a day cruise. We paid about $40 (USD) per person which is high. But, we had our own boat, kayaks, complete privacy, an INCREDIBLE fresh seafood lunch cooked for us on the boat, and access to small and isolated beaches. But, you can do much cheaper tours on larger but still nice boats. You can also extend the experience into multi-day/night trips on any number of boats.

But, it was great to explore the floating villages and the private beaches with much cleaner water than Halong Bay.

During our trip in winter, we saw very few other tour boats but just the quiet amazing scenery. Cat Ba Ventures specializes in scenery opting not to go to Monkey Island, which has aggressive monkeys. Our trip included kayaking, fish farm up close and swimming if we wanted.

It is beautiful.. not an excessive amount of other vacationers & boats in this month. The temperature was sunny a great for swimming actually was February. kayaking was excellent and monkey island also. In certain locations are able to envision the waste in warm water whats unfortunate because Lan La is much cleaner then Ha Long Bay... Community lunch on the floating hostel was okay though it might be much more fish. Day that is great.

This is a truly wonder of nature. We booked 02D/01N to explore Lan Ha bay and Halong with a lot of activities such as kayaking, trekking, cruising and visiting fish farms and floating houses. It was by far the best experience ever during our trip in Vietnam

We had taken a little group tour of Lang Ha Bay as well as truly liked the kayaking and climb up Monkey Mountain. We had been let down in the snorkeling due to a shortage of presence. Regrettably, the bay even offers an accumulation of waste. Everybody must quit purchasing water in bottles that are clear plastic or at best be equipped to obtain refills rather than purchasing much more! The result is devastating. We pick this particular bay over Halong, not simply due to cost but additionally much less crowded.

The Lan Ha Bay was extremely beautiful & less touristy compared to Halong Bay. We did three days/ two nights. That is small wooden boat of nine cabins, a tad aged but excellent with prices that are sensible & services. We loved 2nd day a lot when had time that is much to unwind & enjoyed biking, swimming, kayaking at the perfect places!

We had taken a brief two hour boat ride around Lan Ha Bay. We'd cloud, sun, and rain during the journey of ours. The bay is atmospheric in virtually any weather condition. Real' Wow!' factor. A must do!

I'd a two day cruise, our cruise stopped right here overnight. this particular spot is an element of ha lengthy bay, but less tourist, the point of view is very similar actually. the cave I visited was Thien Canh Son cave, it's significantly less large as some other caves. Anyhow, the scenery here's as good as Ha Long.
