After a long and weird route to the Park, we found a very not so busy Park, with a very inexpensive entrance fee. We arrived on Monday and when we asked what time feeding time was the crocodiles, we were told they are not fed on a Monday. SO recommendation number one from a tourist, if you want to see... More

A nice little zoo, lots of crocodiles and other creatures but the highlight had to be the giant tortoises that you could stroke and feed. My kids thought it was fantastic and had a great time with them

We visited with our three kids (12, 9 and 19 months). We were north east, so about an hour drive south following Google offline maps. It's a smallish park but well worth the trek south and to see so many giant tortoise in one place, amazing. The enclosure for the tortoise is huge and they're free to roam wherever they... More

This park is not the easiest to find, so we were hoping it was going to be worth the trip from Flic En Flac. It was, but only just. The tortoises are its redeeming feature. They are great and you are encouraged by the keeper to interact with them (and feed them at 11.00). This was great. Downside was that... More

An interesting place, also had a good cafe. Signage to the park not very good, we got lost a couple of times. The road to the park very narrow and through a village.

I never imagined myself patting an iguana. At the La Vanille Nature Park, one gets to do that, while the star gazes dreamily into the distance with just a bit of superceliousness colouring its gills. The park is quite mind boggling, with the crocodiles and ghariyals. Once almost extinct on the island, they are tended to and bred in safe... More

Value for money, we are mauritians so paid the local price. The park is nice n simple with crocodiles as its main attraction and monkeys and a few turtle. The main restaurant offers local dishes at a good price. Special deals of the day available.

What a great day.......Went without too many expectations but was very pleasantly surprised. To be able to walk among what was probably a hundred giant tortoises was an experience to be remembered. All the animals on view seemed very well cared for as well. The fruit bats were also amazing, seeing them so close was amazing. There is also a... More
