We had Sunday Lunch on 3rd July at the Golf Club, I think this was a new venture so I have to say a big thank you to the chef, the lunch was delicious full credit for such a lovely lunch from a small kitchen. The staff were very friendly and they could not do enough for us. We have eaten at the Hotel before but decided to try the Golf Club and we will definitely be coming back when we are this way again.

The course seems to be well looked after, its not the most hardest of courses but can be challenging in certain areas with having to drive between a road and beach LOL, to be fair the staff are very pleasant and welcoming too, the place is very dated though, its like going back in time but that maybe there niche

Played Sandilands today, this course is in excellent condition for the time of year. The welcome was superb we were a bit late arriving but this was not a problem at all. Would without doubt recommend this golf course

This Golf club at the moment is closed down due to current owners going into liquidation. This information comes from people who live very near to this course.

Called for breakfast as states all day breakfast from 07.30. No menu or prices for food. No one else having a meal in the premises. Staff were uninterested. Tea/coffee was extra out of a machine. Tables were in process of being cleaned with buckets left on top. Told to sit at bar tables which were too low to eat from. Couple came in asking for bacon butties & tea but were told they weren't serving food now (11.00) as lunch being prepared for members. They queried why stated all day breakfast if not the case & left. Food ok but very overpriced for basic meal. Very disappointing & would not recommend.

We have played 2 rounds here over the weekend. Yesterday morning and again this morning.
The course is in brilliant condition and the greens are perfect. Even after a lot of rain last night and early this morning by 7am there was not a puddle anywhere to be seen. The wind meant that this morning's round was totally different to yesterday, which made for some fun. Some really testing holes. Very friendly staff. We will definitely be back

We played the Sandilands open week. The course is a Links with everything that entails bump & run, wind blowing you can hit a wedge 180 yards and a driver 150 yards, no trees just bunkers and dune grass. Whats not to like about that? The only thing was the club house was at best basic but very welcoming. If you have the opportunity to play then it is highly recommended.

We had two rounds booked to play here whilst staying at the linked George Hotel as part of the package. Sandilands is a no nonsense long established club with basic clubhouse and facilities but that is a compliment not a criticism.

The friendly atmosphere was evident as soon as we arrived, the man on duty made us very welcome. On both our rounds we virtually had the course to ourselves. It was in good condition, greens a little slow but running true. There are two pairs of shared fairways but with hardly anyone playing that was not an issue.

An honest links course with views of the sea when playing from the bank we really enjoyed it. We found the back nine harder than the front nine but that could all be down to which direction the wind is blowing.

We had a great time here and would definitely go back.

Popped in following local advice. Bearing in mind we had two dogs we were made more than welcome. The steward was totally engaging and used his chef skills to perfection to deliver the Eagle breakfast and a Bacon sandwich. Breakfast had two of everything, except the beans as he put it. Couldn't fault it. Great value as with two latte's it came to £13 odd. So good it cost me £20, well deserved Sir.
