L’Ampolla is a fantastic beach but it is not very big and it gets crazy busy (especially when compared to the beaches in Calpe). The facilities are good (foot-washing taps etc) and there is an inflatable playground about 50m from the shore. There’s a nice...More

Personally this was my favorite beach that we visited on our stay in the Costs Blanca. It has a nice sandy beach and rock pools where you can snorkel and see plenty of fish. It has a first aid post that we visited for a...More

This is a family friendly beach. The water gently slopes out and is fine for young children, the only downside is that a significant amount of seaweed collects near the beach however it is the sea! Once passed this the water is clear. The sea...More

This is a great sandy beach with free parking beside it. Lifeguard presence in summer and plenty of things including volleyball, kids playground, restaurant as well as rock pools and the other usual beach stuff

Have to be honest and say this is not one of my favourite beaches in the area, as it gets very busy, and it’s particularly large. There is a beach bar, and many cafes and bars a short walk away. There is car parking nearby,...More

We visited in March and on a warm spring day the beach was perfect for a family beach party. Excellent facilities and plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Very safe and family friendly

Ampolla beach is clean and well supervised . The beach is safe for children but becomes very crowded in high season. Very close to the town centre Ampolla is well served with restaurants and snack bars.

It has become the practice to walk the dogs OUT OF SEASON on the beach. Strictly speaking no dogs are allowed on the beach anytime but in the winter months it seems nobody takes any notice. Hope this answers your question.
