This garden is well laid out but probably best seen early season as in late August plants were not at their best. A plan is given for your walk round but could be made better if individual plots were numbered as the plan.

The botanic garden was nice, but you really should be here in the best time of the year. That is in May or June when everything is blooming and the whole nature's is still New and fresh. In Mid July many alpin flowers are already overblown and mown away.

Great place for a walk, interesting to see the flora. All good, nothing to dislike - some decent restaurants for a meal as well.

This was a pleasant aside to our trip to the mountains but some of the beds lacked attention. Worth a visit if you have the time - quite sweet with nice views but not that special.

We had a fantastic guided tour visiting this fabulous garden with over 1000 varieties of plants, trees and flowers. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

I loved how informative the herb beds are and how the planting scheme ranges around the site. The information guides gave just the right amount of details and didn't impede the enjoyment - sitting in the... More
