Autumn colours for free. This is a wonderful destination for nature lovers. The garden is great for picnic, family time and just relaxing. it offers you many wonderful views. Kids will also enjoy this. Much better than Hunter Valley Gardens

A wonderful place to visit anytime but Autumn is special. The colours and trees .are very unique to a cold climate, The Japanese red flame tree is a must to photograph Allow at least half a day. You must visit Mt Wilson at this time of year too. Allow more time or even separate days to take it all in.... More

Been to a number of botanical gardens and this one is average I would say. However, I got there just in time for the free guided tour (11:30am I think) which provided me with some interesting information. For Autumn leaves, I would advise to go to the gardens at Mt Wilson.

We visited the Blue mountains Botanic Gardens in April and were not expecting muc blossoms given it was Autumn. But we were absolutely delighted to find a large variety of flowers in myriad colors. Flowers apart, the gardens and water bodies are very well maintained and makes for a beautiful one day visit. surprisingly such a beautiful place does not... More

We wanted a spontaneous day out and that's what we got at the beautiful, Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens. We arrived mid afternoon on a chilly day, but it was certainly worth the trip! The lady at the desk of the visitors centre was so lovely and suggested we do the Kids Garden Quest. What a wonderful way to get our... More

Gardens are beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of paths which lead to different areas in the gardens to explore. Lots of bees so be careful if you are allergic. Staff assisted with directing vehicles to parking area. Very disappointed with the cafe however. We were told it was table service but there was no service. Approached a waitress and asked... More

Mt. Tomah is a must visit if you are around the Sydney area in Australia. It is absolutely breathtaking in its natural beauty. Green and scenic. A little train tour is also available around the botanical gardens by which you garner information on the various types of trees, shrubs and flowers. Beautiful!
