A Temple just to see !
Nov 2016 • Family
The reach to the temple is of little on a bad stretch of road of about 10 kms from the main highway, it is worth for those who really are interested in just seeing a Temple with not much to say about it. It is just one more place mostly mentioned as a tourist attraction.

INAVOLU JATARA
Mar 2016 • Couples
The temple popularly known as "Iloni Mallanna" was built in 11th century by Kakateeya Rulers. The main deity is Mallikarjuna swamy, incarnation of Lord Shiva. The nearest city Warangal is 18 kms .Best time to visit is during JATARA which starts on Sankranti day and ends on Ugadhi.During JATARA there is festive mood with thousands of pilgrims visiting the place. You will find " Potharaju's "-men dancing rhythmatically, followed by women offering Prasadam in decorated mud pots known as "Bonalu ".The Prasadam, rice cooked in milk and jaggery,is placed in rangoli known as "Patnam".The village is famous for Oggu Katha,a native form of story telling .They narrate story of Lord Mallikarjuna swamy in a theatrical way using local dialect.By wearing traditional dress you can perform Rudrabhishekam inside the temple.
The place is best for short visit as staying facilities and good hotels are not available.Visit the place to experience the unique culture and customs of Telangana.
