Well worth a visit to this cafe by the canal. Lovely to sit in the shade under the trees on a hot day. My partner said his bacon & cheeseburgher was the nicest he had ever tasted! Good point for a walk along the canal.

Clean and tidy with public toilets and free parking.
Lovely little Dry docked narrow boat, converted into a little cafe, which sell amazing cakes and cooked breakfasts etc. Used a lot by locals and local tradesmen.
I was amazed at the quality of drinks and food at very reasonable prices. DOG FRIENDLY!!! At last a place you can eat in or out and take the family dog.
Go over the bridge and walk for miles along the canal.

Parking is available here.
Great location and happy to note there is a lovely converted canal barge as a cafe.
Toilets are just behind which is great when busting.
Lovely location with plenty of canal barges and access to the canal.
Would recommend.

Great for a walk and coffee in the cafe in the canal boat. Can't believe that we are lucky to live so close

We have been a few times and a quaint place by canal basin and ideal for walks with a lovely picnic spot and cafe for a cuppa and serving food though check opening times. Only down side is some of the traffic noise. Plenty of interest along the canal.

A very nice place to spend a couple of hours walking around the canal and basin.

A great place for dog walking, biking, jogging or just a slow stroll.

Pleasant cafe which serves great cakes and beverages.

Plenty of wildlife to see and interesting to look at the boats.

Beautiful location and lovely walks along that canal possible. Afterwards I had a really terrific bacon sandwich, on thick bread and lovely bacon. Just brilliant!

I visit every weekend weather permitting, to meet my friends with their dogs. We have a meal then walk our dogs along canal then back for Ice cream or coffee. The Boatyard Tea Room is a narrowboat up out of the water and serves lovely food at low prices. Not many places that sell a full (approx 10 piece) cooked breakfast with tea or coffee for £5 and its the best!

A lovely place to visit for a cuppa and a snack or meal at the Narrowboat Café where the food is lovely and made on the premises. Seating indoors, or outside where you can soak up the sun and lovely canal scene. Ideal starting and ending point for a walk along the canal bank.
