The main hall with stage is often used for visiting theatre acts, mainly musical shows, including London shows ‘on tour’. I’ve danced in the aisles many times. Next door is a smaller room that can seat up to 100 people which is often used for dining purposes or set up for socialising while eating buffet style nibbles. There is a large and well equipped kitchen for rent often used by caterers. Bar and large foyer plus ample clean toilets make this a good venue choice.

To John C: Frankie Valli always said he became a singer aged seven because ‘my mom used to take me once a week to the Adams (Theatre), so I saw every major big band at the tail end of that era’ - if narrow minded people like you had existed at the time, The Four Seasons would have never existed. Perhaps you simply have a short concentration span and easily distracted?

That aside fantastic show and great venue. Me, my mum and my son loved it and APPRICIATED IT as we knew all the songs and words!

Had a great evening seeing Ed Byrne perform at the civic center. It was sold out everyone had a great laugh. Although the door opened 45 mins before the show we were not allowed to take out seats until about 15 minutes before the start, it would have been better to be able to take out seats earlier as the entrance got very crammed with people. Our print at home tickets did not work on the scanner that the door staff were using but the manager soon sorted it and let us in. It was a great evening and Ed said that he would come again to Trowbridge. Which is a good seal of approval.

When is someone going to come to their senses and put the entrance to the Civic Centre back where it should be, at the front. Yet again, we have gone there in the rain and had to run around the side to get in and arrived bedraggled. Then, nowhere to put your wet coats. The ladies cloakroom is a disgrace. The smell was so bad it made you gasp, several taps not working, no long mirror, nowhere to do your makeup and worse the lock on the cubicle door didn't work. Also, the air conditioning was put on half way through the evening and we nearly froze. The seating rows are not far enough apart and the person behind kept kicking my seat. This was a great show (Lipstick on your Collar) but spoilt by the venue.

We had a lovely evening being entertained by Ed Byrne. He was very funny. The audience were very friendly and it was great to chat before the start and in the interval. I had recently torn my calf and was using crutches, so there were a few issues for me. The seating was uncomfortable, and there was very little room between rows, making it hard for me to reach my seat. Too little leg room for me.

The evening was a complete let down, their was no heating and half the people there wore coats all night also we arrived 10 minutes after doors opening to find we could not sit down so they obviously sell more tickets than seats so had to stand all night, some of our party got a few seats scattered about so could not sit together and the music started playing at 11.50pm just before the new year coming in, to much childrens entertainment with no time for music, wont be going next time

Excellent show and good facilities. One minor problem. There was a child who was obviously too young to appreciate the show and was an unwanted distraction. I believe there should be an age limit set for a show of this kind.

Excellent show in a very good venue with masses of parking almost adjacent. Very good value and the performers were superb!

Enjoyed a really good evening watching an excellent 8 piece live band playing famous Carpenters songs. First class musicians, good sound and good views from our seats.

Was easy to get into the hall with no queuing and similarly easy to get drinks before and during the interval.
