Quick wine tasting
Oct 2019 • Couples
We didn’t book a full wine tasting and tour but asked to wine taste only. The staff are very friendly and the wine very reasonably priced and a good quality. Less touristy than the co- operative opposite which caters for tour buses.

Winery tour & tasting.
Sep 2019
Seven of us visited for a look at the vines. ( They should have organic certification around the end of 2020. ) Plus a tour of the winery and tasting.
We were told that they have three types of soil. Sand, clay & slate which they use for growing different grape varieties.
The winery is very modern. They were harvesting grapes while we were there. The stainless machinery that separated grapes from stalks appeared to be doing a good job. Some of the fermentation vessels are high-tech stainless steel job, with all sorts of features to keep fine control of the process.
The french oak barrels are stored in a new looking below ground level bunker. The whole setup was very impressive. A lot money has been invested to produce good quality product.
Using the different grapes they produce a number of wines & liqueurs. We left having purchased bottles of wine plus a rather nice cream liqueur.
Having already visited a number of wineries my wife & I went along purely to make up the numbers. We both ended up impressed by their ethos & the quality of their products.

It's wine it's local and ts GREAT value. Give it a look at. Fantástico. They have locally produced wines and have wine tastings and are very helpful. They recommended some local restaurants that are the best ever.

Went for a tour to the vineyards, cellar and for some tasting too. Our guide Anna was super knowledgable, spoke very good English and was very kind to answer all our questions. The tasting was just a cherry on the top. She gave us loads of info about the wine we drank. Very friendly atmosphere, lovely people and superb wine. Highly recommended!

Very friendly visit

I stopped in here for a visit. I recommend calling ahead as a courtesy. They welcomed me and gave me a tour of the facility and finished with a tasting of many wines.
This is a family run winery that has been here for 700 years! Recently they have expanded their facility and they are are returning their vineyards to the traditional varietals that were original to this area.
I recommend a stop here and traveling the wine route of the Alt Emporda by bike or car, which you can find online.
