This is a cute little beach which was almost deserted in the warm November sunshine. There is a cafe that was closed. Great view across to the mole. Safe for families. Free parking.

but well sheltered from the wind. A restaurant was open when we went. Rather small and would not be nice if there are crowds.

Gorgeous little beach in a cove, with a little restaurant and bar, has a few caves too. Very peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommended.

This beach is at the start of the Trail of the Headlands in Ferragudo. There is a restaurant, lounge chair rentals, umbrellas and plenty of soft sand to throw down a blanket. The caves and crevices here are stunning.

Spent the day on this beach, €12 for two sun beds. Tasty lunch in the restaurant. The caves are wonderful at low tide too!

We go there all the time! Family loves the place. I sometimes go with the dog in the winter months and it is quiet and good fun! Tide and waves are not dangerous.

This is one of our favourite little beaches in the Algarve.
We were staying local to it and, although there are several beaches in the area this is the one we loved to visit and relax.
Although it was out of season and the beach bar was closed we loved spending a relaxing afternoon there and the scenery is lovely with some great walks straight from the beach along the coast.

An old favourite which hasn’t really changed much over the years. The sardines are fabulous and the fries they serve them with are great too. One portion could do 2 people too. Fab setting on the beach, very relaxed and informal. Well worth a visit. Looks also that there will be some sort of development there in the future so not sure how that will impact on the place.

This is a lovely Beach. You could say small. It’s a walk over the cliff from Praia Grande. Not for the faint hearted. Also can be reached on the local bus. It’s quite a small beach and it was rather crowded on the day we went. We chose to go there that day as I thought it was quite windy and would offer more shelter. We had a beer at the beach restaurant which seemed to be local Portuguese favourite but my daughter was put off by the red and white faded plastic seating so we left and called into Kalu on the way back to our villa. Nice place to sunbathe with the please of a nice walk first. I will go back with my hubby though for the local sardines at the restaurant with a bottle of wine! We can live with the chairs it’s a beach bar. I give it a 3 for the beach. I’m a hard judge and it has to be absolutely perfect in every way got a 4 or a 5.
