Detras de este templo se encuentra una pagoda de mas de
30 metros cuyo nombre es Phra Maha Chedi se dice que contiene reliquias de Buda , lo que si es un templo muy bien comunicado ya que hay muchos autobuses de linea que llegan al lugar , y permite a los gugareños hacer la visita religiosa

เหมาะกับผู้ที่จะเดินทางมาทำบุญ เดินทางสะดวก มีพระบรมธาตุบรรจุอยู่เป็นวัดหลวง สถานที่ีกว้างขวางมีให้อาหารปลาด้านหลังวัดเพราะติดกับแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา เดินทางาด้วยเรือด่วนได้ ถ้าเป็นช่วงที่จัดงานวัดคนจะเยอะมาก ที่จอดรถหายากมาก

... วัดแห่งนี้ื จัดสร้างในสมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยา เดิมเรียกขานขนานนาม "วัดเขมา" กาลต่อมาในสมัยรัตนโกสินทร์รัชกาลที่ 4 โปรดให้ปฏิสังขรณ์ครั้งสำคัญและพระราชทานต่อท้าย ""วัดเขมาภิรตาราม"
* ถาวรวัตถุและจุดกราบสักการะที่สำคัญ มีดังนี้.
- มหาเจดีย์ที่ใช้บรรจุพระบรมสารีริกธาตุซึ่งมีความสูง 30 เมตร.
- พระอุโบสถ ประดิษฐานพระประธาน ปางมารวิชัยและ "พระอินทร์แปลง" พระพุทธรูปสำริด ศิลปะสุโขทัย พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว โปรดเกล้าฯ ให้อัญเชิญจากพระราชวังจันทรเกษม พระนครศรีอยุธยา โดยมีพระอสีติมหาสาวก รอบพระประธาน 80 รูป มีชื่อแต่ละองค์สลักปรากฏอยู่ที่ฐานอาสนะ ประดิษฐานเบื้องหน้าพระประธาน.
จิตรกรรมฝาผนังโดยรอบพระอุโบสถงดงาม.
ภายในวัดยังมีพระเจดีย์ 4 องค์ ศาลาจตุรมุข พระพุทธรูป และไข่เด็กวัดเจดีย์.
* ถาวรวัตถุและจุดกราบสักการะที่สำคัญ มีดังนี้.

วัดแห่งนี้มีเจดีย์สีขาวเด่นสวยงาม ไม่แน่ใจว่าสร้างแบบไหนแต่วัดนี้ถูกสร้างตั้งแต่สมัยอยุธยา การเดินทางที่สะดวกสุดน่าจะเป็นรถยนต์ส่วนตัวแต่ด้วยความที่วัดติดถนนใหญ่ก็จะมีรถโดยสารสาธารณะให้บริการด้วยเช่นกัน

วัดเขมาภิรตามราม เป็นวัดติดริมเเม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา เป็นวัดพระอารามหลวงเก่เเก่ ในจังหวัดนนทบุรี เป็นวัดหลวงในสมัยอยุธยา ที่นี่มีงานวัดประจำปีที่จัดยิ่งใหญ่ที่ใครๆก็ต้องมาเที่ยวชม

В этом храме нас удивило высочайшее качество отделки фасада, умели же делать! Здесь все традиционно; монахи, множество статуй Будды. Рядом с храмом расположена древняя ступа. Говорят здесь хранится одна из буддистских реликвий.

วัดเขมาภิรตาราม เป็นพระอารามหลวงที่มีความเก่าแก่และงดงาม เอกลักษณ์คือ เจดีย์สีขาว ขนาดใหญ่ หากมีเวลาให้ไปเยี่ยมชมพระอุโบสถซึ่เป็นที่ประดิษฐานของพระประธานที่มีความงดงาม (ขณะนี้อยู่ในระหว่างบูรณะ) และยังมีภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนังที่สมบูรณ์สวยงามอีกด้วย

เพิ่งรู้ว่าวัดนี้ไปทางน้ำได้ เมื่อก่อนเคยแต่นั่งรถผ่านๆ (อยู่ใกล้ๆ รร.สตรีนนท์) แล้วก็คิดว่าเป็นวัดธรรมดาๆ ไม่มีไรน่าสนใจ แต่พอได้มาความคิดก็เปลี่ยนไป
