Part of any trip to Tingri country is a visit to the top pf Gyatso-La Pass (altitude approx. 5,200m). Early birds who leave Tingri around 6:30 to 7:00 am and drive to the top of the pass can, if weather permits, see the first rays of the sun lighting up Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Everest as well as Mt.... More
