Absolutely love Golden Gate Such special scenery Although the kack of rain in the area is evident it remains spectacular. Well worth the drive when spending time in Clarens

The most magnificent mountain scapes and spectacular formations. Wild herds of zebra and a multitude of buck. Take a jacket as the peaks are extremely windy. The shades and colours of exotic spices layered - rock formations in turmeric, cinnamon, coriander with a side of...More

The park is beautiful, with breathtaking views all around. We didn't see a lot of animals, expected to see a bit more wildlife, but the entire scenery was otherwise beautiful. We'll definitely pass by here again

Spectacular views, but the Lake District in Cumbria is infinitely better. The drive is devoid of development and few animals, so it is a pretty desolate place. Wouldn’t resh back.

Just go off on one of the trails, they are great. Liked the Holkrans trail the most and Brandwag view is spectacular.

There is no proper gate entry as it's on a public road, so you can drive through the park at any time. However, if you want to hike or picnic the San Parks Office is open Monday to Sunday.
