There aren't really many points of interest in Gorakhpur, but this is easily one of the best. It's really a place you must visit if you love the Gita. There are many beautiful paintings of scenes of an related to the Gita. It's a peaceful place.

Geeta Vatika is situated on Gorakhpur- Pipraich Road near the Asuran Chowk in Gorakhpur. Devotees participate in continuous prayers for Radha, who was the divine love of Lord Krishna. The main attraction of this place is the temple of Radha and Krishna. It is also the nearest destination to Gorakhpur Junction, located only 3 km away.Geeta Vatika is temple complex. It was built by Hanuman Prasad Poddar. The temple is spread over an area of approximately 5.2 acres.

Gita Vatika was built by Shri Hanuman Prasad Poddar, the founder editor of the religious magazine “Kalyan” . 24 hours Hare Rama Hare Krishna Chant in the campus. The chanting started here in 1968 here and continues day and night without any disruption even today. Very peaceful and spiritual. The priests and saints of the temple are very co-operative and will surely surprise you with his extraordinary knowledge. many temples located inside the campus. One of the best place for meditation.
