Gorgeous location reached by the most scenic drive of our trip, crowned by the Lion's Head rock formation just before you descend into the village. Taganana is very hilly, so not for everyone, but we were glad we were based here. We had wonderful walks...More

Natural scenic views from a mini bus. Steep sided green ravines leading down to small coastal settlements. Tenerife as nature intended. Wild seas and a good restaurant for lunch. VIP Tenerife provided an excellent day out on an eight seater. Julia

This is a lovely little village, great drive round these roads. You should stop just above the village to take nice pictures :) Its pleasant to have a walk on the main street. There's plenty of restaurants too.

Me and my husband rented a cottage in the village Thursday-Sunday. We were nicely surprised there was a fiesta weekend when we arrived. During day time we climbed Anaga mountains and relaxed on local black beaches and in the evenings we danced with the village...More

This area is somewhat out of the way. It takes a while to get to Taganana because the roads are very windy and narrow. The scenery is impressive even though some of it is not pristine due to agriculture. The town is small but there...More

During our visit to Anaga mountains, we stopped at this village called Taganana. We just looked around and enjoyed the view of the beautiful mountain village.

The important thing to see here is the views as they are amazing no matter which way you look. The driving can be a little bit interesting, but the roads to here do have room for 2 cars - they are full size buses on...More

After an amazing bus ride, hair-pinning over knife blade-like volcanic ridges, we arrived in breathtaking Taganana. The main road has a sea wall on the northwest side and a small seafood restaurant on the land side. We sat at a table on the road edge...More
