My friends and I did a wine tasting here while studying abroad in Castiglion Fiorentino and loved it! The owners were thoughtful, generous, and so friendly. The wine was amazing and the pairing were perfect. We had SO much fun and always talk about how delicious the olive oil was. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Santo Stefano is a lovely vineyard set on a hillside with great views to enjoy while you taste their delicious wine. They serve delightful homemade crostini to go with the wine.

Our group of 6 couples had a great time with the cooking class. Our host and hostess had a great sense of humor, kept the pace just right for everyone, and included lots of show and tell about the history and family of the winery. The dinner that followed was a highlight of our 16 day trip!

Such an amazing experience! Antonio and his wife were so sweet and amicable. The food was absolutely delicious and handcrafted by his lovely wife and the wine selection was phenomenal(walked out of there w| multiple bottles) Me and my friend took a trip for about an hour outside of Florence to come and see them. Hands-down such a a memorable time, We’ll for sure be back. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Walked out of there a true wine connoisseur. a must do!

We visited Santo Stefano Winery and were welcomed by Antonio and Marinella. They explained the wine making process and the location of their vineyards.
The wine tasting included a white wine named Venere, a rose named Boca di Rosa and two fantastic reds named Zoccoli and Senaia. We also tasted a lovely Vin Santo that was very enjoyable.
We enjoyed all of the wines and they would make a great addition to any wine collection.
We also tasted their extra virgin olive oil and this is also fantastic.
I would thoroughly recommend a visit to this winery, you will not be disappointed.

It's difficult to find a starting point when you have to review such a wonderful place...I will start from what I think is the most important aspect which is the warmth, the passion and the friendliness that Marinella and Antonio are so good at transmitting to all guests. It's impossible not to feel at home in such a place! The winery and the history behind it is amazing. It's all rooted in the family history and that's what makes the experience so unique. Along with the wonderful wines they make and that Antonio will so carefully explain. It's not just a wine tasting, it's a whole learning experience! I can't wait to be back and I highly suggest it to anyone who wants to discover the way of living and appreciate life of a real Italian family!

We had a very warm welcome and the family of Santo Stefano told interesting stories about their wine and place. It was nice to taste both the wine and the homemade food.

We did experience a very good tasting with Antonio Bernadino of typical wines of the own vineyards between Cortona and Castiglion Firentino.
From the beautiful white Venere and rose wines via 2 beautiful red wines to the passivm price winning dessert wine !
Antonio was a great storytelling host-owner.

My husband and I have visited a number of times and just love being surrounded by the quiet beauty at Santo Stefano. Antonio and Marinella are just wonderful people and have made our special occasions truly special. We first discovered them 15 years ago on our honeymoon and most recently we went for my birthday. We have stayed in all 3 apartments and each are clean, comfortable and full of Tuscan charm.
We love hanging out on the deck overlooking the gorgeous valley and star gazing in the evenings with a glass of wine made lovingly from their family vineyard. We've enjoyed bringing back some bottles for our cellar and bringing them out on occasion to reminisce all of our wonderful memories there.
We've also loved the convenience of being able to dine there on occasion for delicious authentic home cooked Italian meals, sampling their honeys and olive and truffle oils.
Just a wonderful place to relax.
