On a whim, with an hour to kill before dinner, I googled wineries and this gem popped up. I have Irene a quick call and 15 mins later all 12 of us were standing in her beautiful property. She was a brilliant guide and gave us an interesting tour of the vineyards and a brief history of the wines her husband and her produce. We had so much fun at the tasting and there were enough toys to distract the little ones in our party that I can to regret having found it so late in the day and so late in our holiday.
I can only recommend Gabriele Mazzeschi vineyards as a lovely thing to do on a warm Tuscan afternoon.

The wine is divine at Gabrielle’s cantina. The generous charcuterie amplified the experience. Ample pours, and grandfather’s lovely dessert wine that’s been aging for many years was a wonderful ending with biscotti.

We had such a great visit at the Mazzechi vineyard. This family owned operation was a joy to see and the wines are very good. Irene was quite knowledgeable and amazing hostess to our group. We felt like family when she shared the homemade tomato sauce made by Papa Mazzechi. This was one our best tours in Castligion Fiorentino.Thank you to the Mazzechi family for sharing your beautiful vineyard and wines with us.
Hope to see you soon in Texas.

I know Tuscany very well and if there is a must when you go visit, it's the joy of simple yet delicious food and wine. In this lovely family business run by Gabriele and Irene, you can taste a great selection of genuine and high quality products they produce themselves. From wine to oil, to meat and cheeses. It's not that easy to find specialties that have nothing to do with additives and other unhealthy ingredients.Plus, this is a real family business so you get to meet real Italians willing to show you the place and tell you more about how their products are made and what's so special about them.Needless to say.. all this is in the wonderful frame of Tuscan nature.Enjoy your stay!

We had a nice visit with informativ showing of the step by step process of the winemaking. Irene talked in good English and had great hospitality, letting the kids play with her kids toys. We got to taste a good variety of wines and some local cheeses, salami and prosciutto. Afterwards we got the opportunity to buy our favorites. Absolutely to recommend!

What a fabulous tour and wine tasting experience. A family owned business producing the most delightful organic wine. We were shown the vineyards and production facility followed by wine and oil tasting with locally produced cheese and meats. We know why they keep the home-produced meats for the tour, they were absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much, this was such a fantastic experience and we look forward enjoying the wines we bought.

We booked a wine tasting for 6 persons, for the wedding anniversary of my parents.Via phone we discussed the time, a few weeks in advance. When we arrived, nothing was prepared and Gabriele (sommelier) was not on the estate. The owner of the farm (a lady) called Gabriele and we got in an argument because he suggested for us to wait for 50 minutes. We declined, received the money back (paid in advance) from the lady and left. It was not a nice experience!

Enjoyed our brief tour and wine tasting! Matteo did a great job of describing each wine! Bountiful pours with salumi, cheese, bread and their own olive oil! Within walking distance of Castiglion Fiorentino!

Wine tasting at Gabriele Mazzeschi was a highlight of our entire trip to Italy. The wine was delicious and the operation was so special - it is family run and the farm is grown using only organic/biodynamic practices. The Mazzeschi family are very nice people who put great care into their tours.
