I love the view here and how the white jasmine flowers looks nice in the trees. We have lunch here and stop over but I feel, I can stay the for longer time. The good shade and the white sand paired up with nice lunch gives a relaxing vibe. I will go back with my love one next time.

this was were we had our lunch. The beach is beautiful just like all the other tourist spots in palawan. Just be careful of the fishes because they can get very territorial. One of our companions was bitten though it was not a serious wound. We also enjoyed kayaking in this beach especially since the kayaks are free if you get your package from calamian tours.

My boyfriend and I got a small private boat and visited a few places around here.

Atwayan beach was beautiful. White sand, crystal clear waters and small bamboo huts to sit and relax and eat in.

We bought food in the Coron town Market that morning and cooked it on our boat but you can buy a few snacks on the beach as well as fresh coconuts. The water is lovely to swim in with small fish but we just chilled on the beach, eating and talking.

We saw a cute puppy (I named him Frank) I'm not sure if he was a stray or not because he did have mange and ticks but i fed him some of our left over fish anyway!

I would say go to this beach as it is very picturesque but i imagine it does get busy with tourist crowds as its only a small area.

It is a small island with huts for lunch during tours. There are locals living here. They have a store and a free bathroom. If you climb up the steps, the view looks really great. The beach is okay. But you can't really swim much because all the boats are docked here.

Atwayan should be a lovely paradise beach - and if man hadn't intervened, it would be. Our boatman took us there as an alternative to Smith Beach, which he said looked crowded. Fair enough. But the problem was that, weirdly, a karaoke bar was in full swing ... the singers were worse than those featured in the first rounds of the X-factor.

The corals were entirely dead and there were no fish.

Maybe we visited at the very worse time, bearing in mind the other reviews ... but all the same, if you have a choice, avoid this one.

Have you ever seen those travel ads on tv that portray an almost unimaginable white sandy beach ?
I'm pleased to say that those places most certainly DO exist, and Atwayan Beach is one of them.

The beach is well maintained and the huts bare really nice for eating and resting. It is also a swimming beach and if you stay still in the water you will have small fishes swimming round you.

Great beach to eat your lunch and lounge around for a little bit while digesting your lunch. But because it is such a small beach, it can get busy very fast.

Our boat did not go to the beach, just the coral reef off the coast of Atwayan. I think the corals generally looked the same as other parts of Coron, the only thing is this reef had more puffer fish (non puffed up) and certain spots also had a lot of seaweed. So the landscape felt about different. I would think that it’s quite good for first time snorkelers

A really nice beach with towering limestone cliffs with flowering calachuchi trees in the background. Huts and a toilet are available. We were fortunate to arrive at the beach a bit early before other tourist-filled boats literally occupied the whole swimming area. When i was there, they were actually putting up another structure, another dinning hall maybe?. :( Good stop for lunch though.
