- Kristine R8 contributionsSuper beautiful landscapeVisited this spot as it was included in our banka island hopping tour. The landscape is amazing. and underwater is even nicer than outside. There are so many bankas around but I guess it is because of the season. I didn't take pictures as I was worried of getting wet my smartphone. But I should have take itVisited February 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten February 27, 2023
- PaulPhilippines29 contributionsVery nice! The trip going inside the lagoon was exciting. You have to go under the bridge while riding a small boat where you have to lie down on your back since the bridge is a little bit low and you can't go there when it's high tide since you won't be able to pass the bridge. The place is very nice considering that it's already raining when we got there. Pretty sure it's more stunning during a very fine weather.Visited August 2022Written June 19, 2023
- Tiarna GeorghiouBrisbane, Australia158 contributionsMagical placeWow. What an incredible place! The water was magical and swimming through the lagoon was such an amazing experience! Sure there is a lot of tourists, but it is to be expected when the place is so beautiful. Our tour guide told us it's possible to swim the entire lagoon. So when we arrived at the end, instead of swimming back through the lagoon (the way we came) we swam around it and all the way back to our boat... it took almost an hour! The entire swim was 2 hours. We had a lot of laughs and safely made it back to the boat, however, if I go again I will not do that, we were exhausted! Definitely a must see place in the Philippines. Make sure you have lots of time to truly explore and enjoy the magical Twin Lagoon!Visited February 2023Traveled with friendsWritten August 14, 2023

Twin Lagoons is a must see! It is soo beautiful. Do not skip if you’re planning a private tour, make sure it’s included if you’re joining a tour with other folks. Pictures do not capture how awesome this place is. You have to go see and experience it. The water inside the lagoon is quirky, it gets cool and warm, cool and warm as you swim around, nothing like it, so weird in an amazing way. Coron never ceases to amaze me. Would love to go back and stay longer.

The best part was paddling the kayak from Balinsasayaw Resort! Twin lagoon ok, very busy. Every time I put my foot down a fish nipped it! Ouch.
On the must do list but actually not that wow.

Beautiful lagoons, surrounded by limestone cliffs, with interesting water - cold on top and warm at the bottom due to the mix of freshwater from the land and saltwater from the sea. We were brought to the smaller lagoon (still felt huge and deep) and there were few groups of people swimming. The great acoustics added to the fun.

An absolute must visit when in Coron. If you want to swim through the short cave, come at low tide. Otherwise, during high tide you will need to climb up and down some steps.
Because the lagoon is a mix of fresh and salt water, the water is cloudy so there’s no snorkeling here.
wearing of life vests is obligatory in the lagoon. it’s actually not a bad thing as it allows you to just float and take in the beauty of the lagoon.

Beautiful lagoons and amazing scenery. To have seen this 50 years ago would have been sensational.
Problem... us. It’s beauty is ruined by tourism. The Lagoons were just a sea of bobbing life jackets. Screaming shouting people... such a shame.

Crystal clear water, peaceful, calm.. of course some tourists also but to each his own. We came later in the day so it's high tide, the separation between lagoons are not that visible not unless you swim underneath.. or a ladder is there which is of course slippery to go to the other side of the lagoon.. didn't bother to climb..my daughter said they're just the same..so just floated all my miseries and stresses away.. tell you..Coron is just an unbelievable experience and I know I will be back to this beauty !!

This is such a beautiful attraction. The birds are singing and the sun was shinning. The only reason I gave it a 3 is because there were 40-50 people there with us and it made it very loud while you were bumping into people. If you swim out farther away from everyone else you get a sense of how Mother Nature intended it to be. I did have to leave my baby with the grandparents in the boat because he wouldn’t have wanted to swim that far.

Twin Lagoon is definitely a beautiful place and one of the highlights of Coron. It's reachable from Coron only by boat and there are plenty of boats full of tourists going there so expect the place to be somewhat crowded and to see oil from the boats :(.
Apart from that most boats will make you wear the life jacket, no matter how much of a good swimmer you are- this is due to their law

Impressive lime stone caves but be prepared to swim through a small opening. Wearing of life jackets help as it is rather deep ..beware of canoes coming through. Beautiful surroundings

This was our first lagoon and stop in Coron!
Absolutely beautiful.
You have the choice of kayaking and swimming and we did both.
Fortunately we went early enough and it was only one other family when we went and we practically had the lagoon to ourselves.
Beautiful, peaceful and so lovely.
Highly recommend.

Hi, if you are on a tour is it a long walk and stairs to climb to get to the lake?

the twin lagoon can be accessed by swimming from the shallow waters where the boats are docked.
the stairs are just a few steps going up and down.
i did not take the steps since there were a number of people who were climbing.
it is quite a long swim, though. about 100 meters. there are kayaks for rent for those who do not want to swim towards the second lagoon.
enjoy coron!

You can go on an organised tour ( will be a bigger boat with a group of tourists) or hire a private bankka. We spoke to our hotel and they arranged for us to meet up with a guy who organised the boat hire they dropped us off at the dock, they will even take you to the local market and get food and charcoal for an onboard bbq.

How deep is the twin lagoon? I love playing in the water but I can't swim.
