In early 2022 we enjoyed a 30-day custom tour of Cambodia, planned and organized by Sithy Heng of Adventure Travel Cambodia / Cambodia Pride Tours. We are a couple traveling long-term and we wanted to see and experience as much of Cambodia as possible during our 30 day visa. We were very happy to discover Sithy, who guided us for many days and organized his excellent team of associate guides, including Srun, our very capable driver for the month. It was an unusual time after two years of pandemic and Sithy was able to sort out unknowns, closures and schedule changes to keep our tour on track.

Sithy and his team took us all around Cambodia to see and experience the cultures and customs in parts of the country unexplored by most tourists. We saw beautiful and remarkable 'tour book' sites, like the spectacular Angkor temples near Siem Reap, dolphins in the immense Mekong River, elephants we bathed in a river sanctuary, white sand beaches of Koh Rong, broad smiles and sometimes bewilderment of locals, people working hard at daily life, and so much more! And our guides readily shared their knowledge of daily life, history, customs and beliefs, and the challenges of a country still emerging from a difficult past.

Sithy and his associates were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and always happy to help us with our daily needs. We highly recommend Sithy, Cambodia Pride Tours / Adventure Travel Cambodia, for planned and guided experiences in Cambodia. We also want to thank Sithy, his associate guides, and Srun for a great experience, and we wish them the very best as tourism resumes in Cambodia.

we did the 5-day Kratie Mondulkiri Explorer Tour and it was just perfectly organised! As we were travelling on a low budget, we got the offer to not constantly have a guide with us but only in Kratie and for the rest of the time the driver was showing us around. He of course did not speak English fluently but showed us all of the attractions and was just super friendly!
We very much enjoyed this "alternative" package and would especially recommend it for groups with low budget. The owner checked in with us via whatsapp everyday and made sure we got all we needed.
In our opinon you totally get good value for the money and would recommend it anytime!

We did the 5 day Kratie Mondulkiri Adventure Tour. It was my grandson, 14, and me. The tour was fabulous!! Sithy the guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about this part of Cambodia having grown up in Kratie but he also knew about Siem Reap and Phnom Penh where the tour started and ended. His English was excellent. In addition to the spectacular sights and experiences (waterfalls, river dolphins, feeding elephants and swimming with them, the floating villages), he showed us about the life and experiences of Cambodians (a mushroom farm, markets, rice whiskey distillery, brick making, food, and much more). He also helped me down the muddy hill to the elephants and I am so grateful as it was unforgettable. Our trip was in the rainy season as it needed to correspond to my grandson’s vacation. I should have brought my hiking boots. Other than that we managed well. We were independent travelers for the rest of our trip but I was reluctant to go to this part of Cambodia on our own because of transportation. I am so glad I found and booked this tour. The driver, Bonny, was excellent and also spoke good English. We also used him to drive us in Phnom Penh. He was very polite, always on time and a pleasure to be with as was Sithy. I am not used to being treated so well. Did I mention the spectacular sunset on the Mekong from our hotel restaurant? All in all, a very successful trip. I would recommend them highly.

I would give this company 6 stars if I could. Sithy couldn’t have been more helpful in the booking process and our (main) guide Ben and his trainee Lee were brilliant!

We did the overnight dolphin tour which included camping on a beach in the Mekong and post-sunrise kayaking. We ate really well, were looked after and were rewarded by amazing sightings of the Irwaddy dolphins.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. Our kids are 8 and 10 and had the best time ever round the campfire and playing around on the beach. Thank you so much!!

Our tour was customized for a group of 18 experienced travellers. It was very well designed to show us most of Cambodian touristic highligths, but also every day lifestyle of ordinary people. Our local guides were very good, amiable and well informed. Our host- Sithy Hengchan - and our driver Happy, were so professional ,but at the same time friendly and warm.
I was impressed by the fact that in this country with developing tourism ,they are so concerned about the environemet , soustainable growth and benefits for the local communitys.
Unforgetable experience, strongly recommendable.

I visited Kratie at the end of January '11 and was lucky to have guides Sithy and Thaung. This is a genuine local enterprise which benefits local people and respects the environment and Cambodian way of life. These 2 great guys looked after me from getting off the bus on arrival from Phnom Penh to the moment I left Kratie in the early morning 2 days later. They even visited my hotel early morning to make sure I caught my bus departing for Siem Reap and arranged an excellent driver/guide there also. Both speak good English, they are friendly and helpful. They are not pushy or money-grabbing and genuinely try to provide a very authentic experience of Cambodian life and attractions in this area. I felt completely safe and relaxed with them and clearly they are well known and respected in the town.
After taking me to my hotel I was taken by motorbike to see the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins who make their home in this part of the Mekong. Then we rode to see the sunset at Kampi Rapids resort where I had a dip in the warm Mekong water.
Later I sat with my guides at my hotel for a drink to discuss my preferences for the trip. I asked to see the "real Cambodia" so next day I had a motorbike tour starting with the market, then crossed the Mekong by ferry past a Vietnamese floating village. I saw no other tourist for the day travelling at a leisurely pace through villages seeing the village industries such as palm candy, rice wine and tobacco production and how the people survive close to nature in small family fruit farms, working together, the importance of family structures, education and traditions.
I was especially struck by how happy and friendly the people are and there were plenty of photo opportunities. Even the ferry crossings were memorable experiences. A great day to witness real Cambodian life and culture. My most memorable moments were taking a dip in the Mekong rapids and lunch in a Cambodian house where I also had a little afternoon siesta!! My only regret was the fact that my stay was so short. If I had known I would have stayed a few more days to enjoy other trips with them.

We had read about Cambodian Pride Tours providing a great service and this proved to be the case.

Using the contact details on the website we rang the night before we wanted to take the tour and arranged for Sithy to pick us up from our hotel at 9am the next day.

At 9am Sithy and Hacke arrived on motorbikes to pick us both up, and we spent the first half of the day visiting local villages and learning about the production of local products. We then went to Sithy's family home for a fantastic Cambodian lunch, consisting of grapefruit (which the village is famous for) and other local dishes. The whole family made us feel totally at home.

Following this, we were taken via ferry to the site to take a boat to see the dolphins - this was a fantastic experience, and despite what we read we enjoyed good views of the dolphin population.

This concluded the tour and we were taken back to our hotel. In the evening we were invited to join them for dinner - over the course of the day they proved to be informative, entertaining and totally trustworthy - a great day out.

My wife and I were in Kratie in January during our trip to Cambodia and wanted to see real Cambodian life as well as the Irawaddy doplhins.
We found Sithy on the Lonely Planet and we were so pleased to have arranged a long day tour with him. We chose to go by bicycle all the way along the west bank of the river and then go to Kampi in the afternoon for dolphin boat ride.
He was prompt in his emails with excellent communication and we were absolutely satisfied with his service. He speaks excellent English which proved to be a real plus. He is very knowledgable and told us many stories about himself and his country. We saw Wat Rokakandal before travelling by ferry on the west bank where our long ride had a start. We saw also a lot of children saying endless hellos, we were told about how the tobacco gets processed. Then we stopped at Sithy's home where we were welcomed by his family and had a very lovely local lunch in a relaxed atmosphere.
He showed us how water used to be pulled out of the river by cycling man power (very interesting, and not so long ago), and his family peanuts crops growing on the river banks.
He then taught us how rice whiskey is made from poor quality rice grains.
Later we returned to the east side of the river on another ferry in order to reach Kampi where we had a great afternoon boat ride on the Mekong river at sunset seeing the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins.
We had dinner together and discussed and talked about his business, exchanging ideas (and photos). He also quickly arranged a private taxi for us for the following day to go to Kompong Cham with a fast and safe driver.
We really appreciated the whole day and found Sithy to be an excellent guide.
We highly recommend Cambodian Pride Tours to anyone and wish Sithy all the best, he is an enthusiastic promoter of his country and offers high quality tours at sustainable prices.
We would love to come back and visit other areas of the country with him, should we have a chance.
He also arranged with his friend Sokra at Siem Reap for few days to spend around the archaeogical park, and a long day tour including Preah Vihear, but this is another (successful) story.
Thank you Sithy.

Sithy was superb, from the moment we met him from the coach, to the moment he dropped us off at the station.

Very professional, warm, knowledgable and a good communicator.

He organised our visit to the Irawaddy Dolphins (we saw them), and later invited us to visit his family's rice farm and eat with them. He explained what each trip entailed, and he didn't disappoint.

Sithy is a great guy and I wouldn't hesitate for a second in recommending him to you.
