About
The Workshop Gush Etzion is a fun and exciting, hands-on experience, creating your own piece of Judaica. The sessions run for 2.5 hours and are suitable for everyone age 6 and up (we’ve had participants up to the age of 90 so far – and many ages in between, and the adults enjoy it just as much as the kids). You will get to work with your hands and on some of our machines in a safe and fun environment.
Duration: 2-3 hours

We were there as 3 generations. The youngest was 8 and the oldest was 70. Everyone had a great experience.

We came with no wood working knowledge or skills. We left with beautiful, finished wood Judaica Jeremy and Amanda are skilled teachers and craftsmen with patience for novices.

It was a great experience. Not to be missed.

This was under an hour by van from Jerusalem.

This was GREAT

This was fun activity for the family. They are very professional and their work is high quality. However, they charged us a surcharge of 450 shekel because we were late. So if you go, make sure to be exactly , perfectly, punctual on time!!

Thanks for your review Chavi. Just wanted to clarify that we make it clear in our confirmation email to everyone who books a session that there will be a charge for coming late, and depending on when the participants arrive, we also reserve the right to cancel the session and charge for it. We run a tight ship here, and if we have organized staff to assist us at a certain time, and have another group following each session, we have to be sure that we will be able to complete one session without causing any delay/disruption to the group that follows.

We went with our 4 children ages 6-14 as well as their grandparents. Everyone was able to complete a project and had so much fun working on them. The owners, Mandy and Jeremy, are kind, generous with their time and extremely patient.

This experience was the highlight of our trip. At first we were nervous, having our children(10,9,6,5) operating heavy duty machinery. However, it was completely safe and monitored the entire time. Jeremy was absolutely fantastic(and funny) and the kids loved him! The whole experience was incredible and we are using our newly made art every Shabbos now! We can't wait to go again and make some more!

Spending a morning with Mandy and Jeremy at their gem of a workshop was a treat for my family of five and my parents. At the workshop they guide and supervise everyone, including my children (ages 15, 12, 10) on how to use woodworking machines to prepare a unique and substantial Judaica project. You choose your project from a sizable list. You have the agency to use your creativity in every step of the project. It truly becomes your own. Mandy and Jeremy also have a large line of their creations. We were so taken by their creativity and the beauty of their collection that we ordered a custom made kiddish cup set, challah board and knife before we left, which they will ship to us in the US. Do not miss a stop at the Workshop in the beautiful Gush, one of the most memorable activities we did on our trip to Israel, suitable for a family of varying ages. We would absolutely go back the next time we are in Israel.

We spent a fabulous few hours creating with Mandy, Jeremy, and their team. They worked hard to ensure that everyone in our group (ranging in age from 6-50) did as much as possible themselves, and we are all thrilled with the results. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time here! Mandy and Jeremy engaged the entire family from adults all the way down to our three-year-old. They were incredibly patient and made sure everyone enjoyed the activity, and we left with beautiful and unique projects that have been in use ever since. Highly recommend!
