About
The Workshop Gush Etzion is a fun and exciting, hands-on experience, creating your own piece of Judaica. The sessions run for 2.5 hours and are suitable for everyone age 6 and up (we’ve had participants up to the age of 90 so far – and many ages in between, and the adults enjoy it just as much as the kids). You will get to work with your hands and on some of our machines in a safe and fun environment.

The Workshop Gush Etzion is a professionaly run, well organized & creative activity for the whole family. Our party of people consisted of young children to great grandparents. Everyone loved the experience of taking a piece of wood and crafting it into their own original piece of art. The staff explained in a clear manner step by step instructions and gave help & attention at all times. I highly recommend putting this activity on your list of top places to go for fun and family time.

Mandy, Jeremy and the Gush Workshop staff were so helpful and accommodating. Mandy was incredibly prompt in responding to our emails and very easy to work with in scheduling and coordinating payment. She even provided us with updated information via email about road closures due to the visit of foreign heads of state. Mandy and Jeremy are so committed to making their guests feel welcome.

The workshop itself was amazing - every detail, every possibility, every option was so well thought out and prepared. It was so professional. We learned a new craft and came away with a completed beautiful Judaica project, that we will use in our home. It was so much fun! We highly recommend it!

We went with the whole family and had a wonderful time. My kids ranging in age from school age to early teens, loved it. They were fully engaged. In the words of my kids, they "let kids do the work themselves," and it was "fun, fun, fun." Jeremy and Mandy were informative, patient and great with the kids. We were thrilled to end up with a high quality judaica project, that would have cost at least the price of the activity to have purchased, and to have also shared a fun family experience in the process. We toured many fun places and did many great activities on our 10 day vacation, but my kids consistently keep picking the workshop as one of the favorites of our trip. Highly recommended for families with kids of all ages.

We were there as 3 generations. The youngest was 8 and the oldest was 70. Everyone had a great experience.

We came with no wood working knowledge or skills. We left with beautiful, finished wood Judaica Jeremy and Amanda are skilled teachers and craftsmen with patience for novices.

It was a great experience. Not to be missed.

This was under an hour by van from Jerusalem.

This was GREAT

This was fun activity for the family. They are very professional and their work is high quality. However, they charged us a surcharge of 450 shekel because we were late. So if you go, make sure to be exactly , perfectly, punctual on time!!

Thanks for your review Chavi. Just wanted to clarify that we make it clear in our confirmation email to everyone who books a session that there will be a charge for coming late, and depending on when the participants arrive, we also reserve the right to cancel the session and charge for it. We run a tight ship here, and if we have organized staff to assist us at a certain time, and have another group following each session, we have to be sure that we will be able to complete one session without causing any delay/disruption to the group that follows.

We went with our 4 children ages 6-14 as well as their grandparents. Everyone was able to complete a project and had so much fun working on them. The owners, Mandy and Jeremy, are kind, generous with their time and extremely patient.

This experience was the highlight of our trip. At first we were nervous, having our children(10,9,6,5) operating heavy duty machinery. However, it was completely safe and monitored the entire time. Jeremy was absolutely fantastic(and funny) and the kids loved him! The whole experience was incredible and we are using our newly made art every Shabbos now! We can't wait to go again and make some more!
