Absolutely superb afternoon out to feed and see the White Tailed Sea Eagles, they literally come withing 30 feet of the boat and we had 10 individual 'fish runs'. Blair and Alex were super good guides, very knowledgeable and know exactly how to get up close to the eagles.
I'd thoroughly recommend this tour, I've spent so much money on trips to see specks of eagles in the distance when you can literally reach out and touch them on this tour. Mull Charters is superb.
(Good luck to Blair in this season's rugby season as well)

This trip was booked several months in advance. The boat departed on time with 6 photographers aboard. Plenty of room. We were almost immediately had views of white tailed sea eagles. Individual birds would speedily approach and a close distance were thrown a single fish. The crew are at pains to point out they follow RSPB guidance and do not overfeed the birds. The eagles approach at very rapid speed and in silence. We also cruised the western edges of Loch-na-Keal for excellent views of Great Northern Diver and common seals, Black Gullemots and Eider. The skipper is very mindful of the requirements for photographers.

The weather was wet and cloudy but that didn’t spoil anything about this experience. The crew were great and considerate and the company on the boat fun. The crew are allowed to throw a limited amount of fish into the water, but not enough for the White-tailed Eagles to become dependent. We had Eagles diving right by the boat offering a photographer’s paradise. It is wonderful to see these fantastic birds close up and it looked on ou4 trip as though the parent birds were showing a juvenile the art of diving. We saw other Eagles on the shore as well as seals. The setting at Ulva Ferry is great with public facilities available by the boat pontoon.

What a trip! It was superb from start to finish. White tailed Eagles were out in force, we got lots of photo opportunities. Dolphins (common) put on quite the show, jumping and swimming alongside the boat for a good 20 minutes. Im not sure how many Dolphins we saw, they were jumping and displaying everywhere we looked. Lots of Terns and other water birds. A great time was had by all. The Crew were friendly with the right mix of professionalism.

This was our first trip with Mull Charters and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Alex and Blair were great guides and were very knowledgeable . We glimpsed a porpoise but then saw a skewer, Manx shearwaters, a puffin and the show stealing White tailed eagles. To see them appear and circle the boat and then plunge down for a fish was jaw dropping. The minke whales remained elusive but this is nature and nothing is guaranteed. We were served a very welcome cup of coffee half way through which helped us to keep warm. Do wrap up well for these trips. Thank you Mull Charters.

Booked the 9am trip for myself, husband and 6 year old. Left on time and was on Eagle look out from the off.
My daughter absolutely loved Monty the sea dog on board & definitely helped keep her occupied throughout this 3 hour trip.
We've followed Mull Charters for a long time and didn't know whether the eagles came as close as appearing reviews, but they must've been approx 20ft from the boat taking the fish thrown over board so was not dissapointed.
Loved that we stopped halfway and offered a hot drink and biscuit too.
There's a very small toilet on here, so don't worry about accepting the beverage!
The guys on board were knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions.

I went out on the Lady Jayne with just 5 other people so the boat was not crowded. We had a total of 5 Sea Eagles come down and grab a fish from near the boat. A fantastic photographic experience. My 100-500mm lens was perfect for the photography. Saw Harbour seals but no Otters unfortunately.
Beware catching pixelitis! I took 400 photos!

Absolutely amazing. So wonderful to see the reintroduction of these beautiful birds into the Western Highlands after being persecuted to non existence. The Eagles are fed 1 small fish only to ensure they do not become dependant on humans. Allowing people to experience the majesty of these birds up close is fantastic!

Having previously had a wonderful trip on the LJ we were really looking forward to another great wildlife experience and the prospect of seeing White Tailed Eagles around the boat. We couldn't have expected the spectacular display by six WTE above and around the boat- where else could you see such an awesome spectacle? We were also treated to lots of seals, various seabirds as well as a beautiful male hen harrier and a peregrine falcon. Thank you Alex and Blair for an amazing trip.

An absolutely stunning afternoon on beautiful shimmering seas. 4 white tailed eagles, 3 fetching fish thrown close to the boat. Well organised with knowledgeable crew. It will undoubtedly be a treasured memory.

Photography?
Ive seen a review about "beware photographers". My husband has a has long lens on his camera, and is hoping to photo white tailed eagles, however was concern he may have problems being able to do this?
How camera friendly is this trip?
Written November 1, 2019
The standard trips aren't specifically for photography however you are welcome to bring your camera and many people do. We do also offer dedicated photography trips at certain times which are restricted to just 4 people max per trip so there is a choice. Regards Martin

Their trips are very weather dependent but really worth while. Both father and his son are very knowledgeable about all the wildlife. They can be contacted via their site and there is a phone number.

Hi, I am visiting mull next week (1st oct ) for a few days will I still be able to see the eagles it would be fantastic to see them its something I was really hoping would happen
Written September 29, 2018
Other people have already mentioned Mull Charters which I also highly recommend but if you don't want to take a boat you still stand a fairly good chance of seeing Sea Eagles flying anywhere over the island.
