About La Senda
Take an exclusive, private tour of La Senda, property of one of the owners of Cala Luna. Visit the experimental organic garden, discover simple natural tips and tricks for your home garden and enjoy a guided hike in the forest while discovering the biggest labyrinth in the world build only with cacti. Glide above the canopies and discover the magnificent view of the Guanacaste landscape on a zip line tour that is suitable for all ages. Or as an alternative to the hike or the zipline, during the morning tour you can choose a one hour horseback-ride in the forest and if you are an experienced rider, ask our sabanero (cowboy) to teach you how to lasso or ride the “Carrera de Cintas” a traditional Costa Rican game on horseback. End your trip with a gourmet 3-course lunch or a dinner under the stars in front of the contemporary house.

This was such an amazing surprise! The ambiance, the fireflys at night, the walk to the Labyrinth, the gorgeous table with a candle light effect & the dinner were something you need to experience. It is hard to put in words, but it was definitely the highlight of my trip!!!

Where to begin? Let's just start with MAGICAL! Our large group ended our trip with a goodbye dinner here. The property is breathtaking and the staff makes you feel at home, safe and comfortable. We spent some quality time in the Labyrinth and that is a sensation you just can not explain. Simply stunning! Then we moved on to our farm to table dinner which was to die for. So fresh, so flavorful and just plain fantastic. And lets not forget desert...chocolate melting cake with salted butterscotch...watch out! We even got to see their newest batch of puppies...so cute Thanks so much for a dinner I heard called the highlight of our trip!

My girlfriend and I attended a spiritual ceremony on the grounds of La Senda and stayed 2 nights in glamping tents. The owners are amazing, loving, hospitable hosts and the healthy, local, organic meals are impressive.

My traveling partners are into action and adventure, but this tour was totally my speed. Watching the sun set over interesting fauna that I have never before seen while our chef toured us around the farm and explained which plants were being grown was an unforgettable experience. The meal was exquisite and the setting was comfortable for starting conversations with people from all over the world who were sitting with us. We felt truly like honored guests in their home. We did decide to leave the 4 year old behind, which was a good decision as she would not have enjoyed the experience.

Anna and the entire team there made our evening special and delightful. We did the entire labyrinth and got a great appetite into dinner with a salad, main course and special dessert. Well worth the experience.
