    A delightful place to visit
This was another place on our Bruny Island Traveller day trip. We were able to sample many delicious flavours of honey, and a few mustards, as well as try hand creams with honey. There were lots of interesting things to purchase. We were also fortunate to sample a small tub of ice cream with honey, and take home a small jar of honey!

We do recommend Bruny Island Honey as a stop.
We visited on 2 Dec 2024 (Couple), It was very busy (tour bus and many cars/vans), showing its popularity. We did not know that there that many different types of honey! (How do they get the bees from one hive to just go to the specific plants?) We liked the Leatherwood Honey, and bought a bottle of the raw. Thank you Yes, recommended.

    Plenty of Honey
Bruny Island has many great natural attractions so you aren't going to visit to see the shops. However, this is one of the better ones on the island. They had many types of honey on display and available for tasting as well as some interesting blends with mustard. There was information available about bees too, but we have seen that at many other places. Pop in for a short visit and like us you may end up buying more than you expected.

Great shop and great range of products & gifts!

Large honey selection and flavours.

Great for the kids too with an inside hive viewable from inside you can see the whole hive working, really cool.

Was a little busy but every one was lovely and staff were quick to serve.

we haven’t been to Bruny for a few years but I don’t think this place was here last time we visited.
Our favourite part was watching the hive inside the store - we could’ve sat there and watched the bees work all day!
There’s an enormous play structure for young kids, we didn’t get time for a play but it’s a great addition for travelling families.
We got the bush and fennel flavoured honey, as well as the mild honey mustard - simply amazing!!

We where on our way back to the ferry when we saw this little honey shop, omw so glad we stopped by.
We did some tasting and bought some honey, will not be disappointed.

A shop off the highway selling honey, honey related skin and bees wax products. Maybe a ten minute stop - they have a small hive you can view from the shop. Picked up a larger jar of Summer blossom honey, on opening it we realised it had crystallised indicating it was quite likely an older jar - tasty but nothing like the silky smooth amber nectar the bees on my property produce. Overall our experience of Bruny Island has been disappointing, expensive to stay and totally overrated.

My wife & I dropped in to Bruny Island Honey this morning more so out of interest than to purchase anything. Once inside we couldn't help ourselves. All types of honey to taste along with honey mustard. The hot honey mustard was my favourite apart from the honey icecream.
Also have honey candles, essential oils etc. Great place for a browse & buy a few essentials 😀😀

Well, this was one if not the best Honey shops we have ever visited!!

Local products, great variety of things in the shop, an excellent sample bar and the hidden bee hive.

Definitely worth the stop and visit. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic little shop.

No bathroom.

This place was a great spot to visit.

Lots of honey, honey products & associated merchandise. A friendly staff member, lots of great tasting honey to try & compare and working, active bee hives including an innovative ‘see through’ hive in the shop area.

A must try is the honey ice cream!

What a little gem of a honey shop... and I am a honey fan.
Excellent variety of honeys, all of which are available for tasting. The lady running the shop was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Cool viewing of working hive from in the shop.
We went home with a few different varieties of honey and some honey mustard.

We love the honey ice cream which is full of flavour yet not heavy. Plenty of onsite parking. Just be sure the island is quite a distance to get from one point to another.

This was one stop that I was doubtful about until I was inside the shop. Greeted by a really nice guy, who explained what they did and how they developed all the varieties. Tasted about seven, all so very different. Also had honey mustard, ginger and honey for all those sore throats and colds. A small bee display. lots of bee honey products. I actually bought several bottles when I normally don't do that sort of thing. Different sizes and reaonably priced. Well set up. In doubt, no more. As an Attraction, not much to say, but product is five star.
