A shop off the highway selling honey, honey related skin and bees wax products. Maybe a ten minute stop - they have a small hive you can view from the shop. Picked up a larger jar of Summer blossom honey, on opening it we realised it had crystallised indicating it was quite likely an older jar - tasty but nothing like the silky smooth amber nectar the bees on my property produce. Overall our experience of Bruny Island has been disappointing, expensive to stay and totally overrated.

Well, this was one if not the best Honey shops we have ever visited!!

Local products, great variety of things in the shop, an excellent sample bar and the hidden bee hive.

Definitely worth the stop and visit. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic little shop.

No bathroom.

What a little gem of a honey shop... and I am a honey fan.
Excellent variety of honeys, all of which are available for tasting. The lady running the shop was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Cool viewing of working hive from in the shop.
We went home with a few different varieties of honey and some honey mustard.

This place was a great spot to visit.

Lots of honey, honey products & associated merchandise. A friendly staff member, lots of great tasting honey to try & compare and working, active bee hives including an innovative ‘see through’ hive in the shop area.

A must try is the honey ice cream!

We love the honey ice cream which is full of flavour yet not heavy. Plenty of onsite parking. Just be sure the island is quite a distance to get from one point to another.

This was one stop that I was doubtful about until I was inside the shop. Greeted by a really nice guy, who explained what they did and how they developed all the varieties. Tasted about seven, all so very different. Also had honey mustard, ginger and honey for all those sore throats and colds. A small bee display. lots of bee honey products. I actually bought several bottles when I normally don't do that sort of thing. Different sizes and reaonably priced. Well set up. In doubt, no more. As an Attraction, not much to say, but product is five star.

The honey was lovely and there was a lot of different varieties. It was a cold and windy day not unusual for Bruny Island. The only eat in that was available was ice cream. If they had offered crumpets with honey they would have had a winner. Some mead would also be a good takeaway.
The lip balm is amazing and the other products looked very nice.

Love this Country shop and tasting. It was a warm welcome - a pride in their product - an honesty system in choosing - and a lovely feel of primary production.
Thoroughly recommended

I managed to do all my souvenir shopping all under the one roof. This is a run by a local family who have all helped to make and even pack the products. I bought the lip balm, face cream, the hot mustard( which is extraordinary) a teddy soap and some shortbread in the shape of Tasmania and or course some honey. Great products and quite reasonably priced. They are in the process of building a new larger facility to operate out of and it will have toilet facilities for the customers.

Amazing honey, so many flavours to choose from! Friendly service with lots of little gifts. See the bees making honey on-site. Another must do when visiting Bruny Island
