Just had the most amazing day with Highland trekking and trail riding. Despite the rain the views were spectacular, the ponies were delightful and clearly very happy and well cared for whilst Iain was a fantastic guide with a seemingly endless well of knowledge about local history, flora and fauna and ecological debates/rewilding projects. I really can't recommend enough and will definitely be back :)

I had a fantastic experience. Owner friendly and welcoming. The scenery is majestic and tranquil to trek through. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

A truly lovely place to go pony trekking. My daughter has been here on a few occasions over the years. Sasha and Ian who own the place are so helpful and enthusiastic. They clearly love their horses and know them implicitly. My daughter tells me they very quickly sussed out what calibre of rider she was and encouraged and cajoled her. They are also full of great stories about the horses etc. It is a drive up from Tomich but totally worth it. Allow half hour from Cannich and get there 15 mins before and take in the scenery. We will definitely be back Regards

Fabulous trekking in a stunning environment. The highland ponies are amazingly well looked after and it shows. The owners are friendly, helpful and good company on the ride and the environment is magnificent.....forestry tracks up to the mountains. Both my partner, as a beginner, and I, with quite a lot of riding experience, had a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours and wished we had booked the half day ride. It is a slow drive once off the main road...allow extra time on top of Google maps journey times....but it is well well worth it. Highly recommended. Although we live in Devon, we'll definitely book again when we return to the Highlands/West Coast.....quite a highlight of the holiday!

GOOD LUCK getting to the destination. Sports cars or sedans will not be able to make it up that trail/road. I was beyond excited for this horse trek on the vacation that I had been dreaming of. Got there early with a smile and was greeted with grumpy faces. The hosts were late and something seemed way off. These big draft-cross “ponies” weren’t even collected yet. As we were waiting and filling out papers, we were weighed in. Apparently 8lbs - 20lbs over your estimated weight is unacceptable??? We asked “what is the weight limit” 3 or 4 times with no answer????? We were refused service with no explanation why. This is especially disappointing as a member of our party has Stage 4 Cancer and may not get another chance to ride a horse in her favorite place on this planet. Beyond saddened. Please don’t give these scammers your money.
