Don't be fooled by the odd location...this is an outstanding way to spend an hour! The tuition from Stuart was excellent, very clear and gave you confidence in handling the vehicle. The course is a great mix of obstacles, gradients and rough terrain, and areas where you simply had to trust that there were tracks!! Everyone who enjoys driving would enjoy this and does leave you wanting more. I did it on a dry summers day, and it was great...I'm told it's even more fun in the rain! Will be passing my recommendation on to all. Thanks again

The off road experience was great, the modified cars were fun to drive, the guides took us various routes through muddy fields and streams and up hills I'd struggle to walk up never mind drive! Even as a passenger it was amazing to see how much the cars are capable of. We had a clear sunny day and the views were spectacular. Definitely worth a visit, I'll be going back!

Two of us went having been given vouchers as presents. One had a bit off off road experience, the other none. You head off in modified Discoverys with an instructor and get to drive up and down and all around the huge site above Shandon. It is quite unbelievable what the vehicles can do even in the hands of novices. You go up slopes where all you can see is the sky. Down slopes where you are sure you should just drop off the hill side. Across little ravines, along tracks at a 30 degree lean angle, everything you can think of. They have loads of little routes and change them periodically. We went in the snow on a clear day and the views were spectacular. The instructor was knowledgeable and the whole time was superb, even as a passenger watching the other vehicle as we went in a convoy. Highly recommended.

This was our second time at Shandon Off-Road, using Living Social Vouchers, it's just the best day out you could imagine. The instructors at Shandon aren't just talk. It's hands-on excitement from the outset. The vehicles alone will get your mouth watering. Immediately you see the scale of their off-road centre. It's vast; steep climbs, water, grass, fern, boulders, mud. Truly amazing. Perhaps slightly tricky to find BUT that's not their fault. Once you're there, be prepared for real, extreme, off roading. 100%, 5-Star, superb.....
