It’s an imposing lighthouse situated in between and on top of the granite rocks.
You can’t go in (at this moment) nor can you get very close, but even from 50 meters it’s beautiful to see.

This is part of the walking trail on the pink granite coast. Perfect view from this great landmark. Sit awhile and listen to the waves and wind.

You can see where the lighthouse keeper must have lived right next door to the lighthouse but obviously the pink granite lighthouse itself is what everyone comes to see. A bit of a chunky building but lovely surroundings and a great photo stop on your walk along the coastal customs path

This is one of the main attractions on the pink granite coast. We were fortunate to be in a hotel right on the nearest coastal access point, the Saint Guirec beach, and it was an easy 5 minute walk to the nearest lookout where the lighthouse was in full view, and another few minutes of moderate walking to get to the lighthouse itself.
The views are amazing and the whole area is incredible. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Brittany!

Gorgeous views of the pink granite. The lighthouse is pretty accessible although there a plenty of areas for scrambling if you'd like.

We visited this place on a "sunny day" for a walk and ended up spending 3hrs here. That's how time flew! Our plan was to visit this area for its pink granite rocks and to have a stroll along side the sea. I must say this is a great place for picnic! Some of the areas offer great views where one can just sit on top of the rocks; enjoy the view and let the breeze glide over your face! The lighthouse also offers a breathtaking view towards the sea, one can spend 15-30mins enjoying the waves hitting the below rocks. We also found a small gunpowder storage room built in the 17th century that was used against the English! You can come here with your dog as well; however, one must be careful while walking on the rocks with a dog, particularly, alongside the ocean!

The beautiful lighthouse also known as Mean Ruz Lighthouse is a breathtaking landmark of Brittany. If you are visiting the area you should definitely check it out.

This is a attraction that must be visited when in the area. The enormous pink granite formations are fascinating. It makes for a very interest walk. Nourishment will be needed after a good walk. Agree with other favorable comments. Tourist info center not always open.

France attractions has no limits and Brittany is full of them this place is simply amazing but of course in summer and especially in sunny days the Plage de Saint Guirec is beautiful the lighthouse scenery is great the pink granite stones are wonderful, restaurants and coffeeshops are available, parkings too, the whole place is nice.l'm sure you will enjoy your day there.

Buongiorno, saremo in questa regione tra fine Luglio/inizio Agosto 2017. Vorremmo percorrere il Sentier des Douaniers, che ci pare di capire sia abbastanza lungo, per un tragitto che sia significativo ma non troppo lungo (non più di 6-7 Km in tutto) per essere percorso con un bambino di 10 anni discretamente allenato, ma non troppo! Da dove possiamo prendere il sentiero? E dove finisce? Dove parcheggiare l'auto?

Bonjour, nous sommes une famille qui voudrait parcourir le Sentier des Douaniers mais on ne sait pas bien d'ou l'aborder, où se garer la voiture et quel itinéraire suivre pour parcourir, en total, non plus que 6-7 kilomètres. On a un enfant de 10 ans qui est modérément trainé....

Yes. The area is definitely dog friendly and there is a path to walk by right by the water. Many people had dogs they were walking with. Probably a leash would be advisable since it's close to the cliffs and there are many people.
