We visited la cascada de chuveje after Quatro Palos - which made for a full day of driving and hiking a small part of Sierra Gorda's biosphere. The path to the falls is stunning, with wildflowers, large trees and a series of beautiful, flowing pools of clear water before you get to the waterfall. It had rained a lot before we went, so the waterfall was very impressed. You pay a small fee to get in, and again, you should plan to pay in pesos. This hike was not challenging and very beautiful. A real joy for the senses. I highly recommend this trail.

This is not super easy to find. If you're going through Pinal de Amoles, it is just past the town if you're headed east, but keep an eye out for the sign for the turn off. It is just a little before Puente de Dios. After you drive back on a gravel road a few km, there's some parking. The walk to the falls is not hard, really only 1km or so. Falls are GORGEOUS. Well worth it. Take some water shoes as you'll want to at least wade in the river. The water is ice cold, clear and super clean. The river is set up in nice little pond like structures that are no more than maybe 5ft deep at the deepest spot. There are no bathrooms or changing areas. Take a towel and have someone hold it up for you to change into your suit. A dip in the river is incredibly relaxing!

Went there during a work trip and we had a great experience. The host was super friendly and stayed with us for some drinks after the visit. The walk to the Cascade is really nice (count 15-20min on way) and the water is transparent.

Arriving is easy by car, after parking just walk to the waterfall. The walk takes like 20 min and then the amazing view. In November the waterfall was with a more strong current and a lot of noise of the strength of it, just amazing.

This place may get busy in weekends with locals. It is a 1KM walk from the entrance. You can camp and have a BBQ. Went in the dry season so not much water. I wouldnt drive hrs to see it. When in Pinal de Amoles it is a 30 min drive
