Located on one of the highest and most spectacular ridges of the Sierra Gorda de Queretaro, 12 kilometers from the municipal seat of Pinal de Amoles, this site will leave you breathless for its scenic beauty and the meeting between ecosystems. At the top of Cerro de la Media Luna, where the oak forests meet the semi-desert and great cliffs rise from the heights, you can enjoy impressive panoramic views from its heights. Without a doubt, it is one of the most scenic spaces in the region.
Undoubtedly one of the wonders of nature, you can enjoy a great view, the best is sunrise or sunset, although you have to walk a lot, the views are incredible, so you will not regret it.
If you enjoy the cold you will love the weather, it has cabins for rent and you can spend an incredible night.
A place you must visit.

This is worth the trip, and one of my favorite days in Queretaro seeing the countryside. We hired a driver from Queretaro to take us here, and stopped in Pinal de Amoles for lunch at a small local restaurant (Lucerito) with excellent chile relleno, sopes and cafe de olla. The drive was amazing as the landscape and vegetation changed going into the mountains. The road was like a crazy spagetti string, but don't let that stop you. The turn up to Quatro Palos was a steep incline. The village is quite poor, but they take safety seriously. We signed a consent form, paid a small fee in pesos and were taken up the mountain by a guide. The air is very thin, but at the top we were enveloped in a cloud forest unlike anything I've ever experience. If you plan this trip in advance, take something for the villagers if you can - an extra donation or household goods may be appreciated. You can stay here overnight if you are hardy and adventurous. Maybe next time - but no electricity! Overall, again, one of the best places we visited. The hike up is steep but not overly long.

5 minutes after Pinal de Amoles direction-to Queretaro you take exit to the left in a curve. After 20 min ride on a dirt road that I recommend to do when its not raining you will come to super small village from where you take cca 20 min tour to the mirador. Ot was nice even we didn’t see nothing due to fog. Nice walk
