Exbury Gardens Not brilliant for the wheelchair user too many gravel areas to cross, watched several people being dragged backwards in wheelchairs to enter and leave, and inside the gardens. They do offer a cart trip, but that means you are not independent to roam around. Great for dogs on a short lead. It was dog day today so discount... More

Okay, I'll admit it, we cheated. We took the buggy ride round. It's an extra £4.50 on top of an already expensive entrance price, but worth every penny. Firstly, everyone walking around the park gives you jealous looks because you know that they wish they were not walking but riding the buggy. Secondly, you get a knowledgeable guide to explain... Our visit seemed to be at the perfect time for all flowering shrubs. The collection of rhododendrons and azaleas is really magnificent. Plenty of space to picnic.

Exbury gardens is accessible - for walkers of all abiliuties, wheelchair or buggy users and steam railway enthusiasts. We enjoyed the easy to read maps and well marked pathways to get around the site and enjoy the superb blooms which are about three weeks ahead of usual timing. We ate lunch in Mr Eddys cafe cum restaurant - the three... More

We had a fantastic trip to Exbury Easter weekend where we completed the Easter Trail. Staff where very friendly and helpful, especially Sue, who made sure we knew which route to follow for the trail and the train times so that we weren't dissapointed. The gardens looked lovely and we will definitely be returning.

Wow! Stunning, epic, captivating, beautiful, scenic, mesmerising. This place is wonderful. I had originally taken my wife and mother here as joint birthday/Mother's Day treat but we were all so impressed we bought season tickets on the same day. The views are breathtaking, the care taken of the gardens is second to none and the landscape constantly evolving. Couple this... More

Well how lucky were we. We visited Exbury Gardens right after Easter. I had booked the trip on line months before, taking a gamble on the weather. The weather was stunning. We walked for 4 hours in beautiful sunshine. You have to go in April to see the abundance of colours. We will never forget the cascade area. You could... More

Beautiful, breathtaking gardens. A riot of colourful azaleas and hydrangeas. Presumably best seen in Spring?
