Back here again. My Family love coming here to the point that our holiday is based around the location of Southdown Adventure. This year we took my mom who is 72 years old. As always the instructor was very good and patient with my mom. we took the usual route around the nursery track and then progressed into the woods, unfortunately Mom got her quad stuck going through a tight gap, lol, soon broke free by Chris. Keep up the good work guys.

A brilliant afternoon. Quad biking is spread over a large area & is really an all terrain experience. One of our party has severe learning difficulties but was given individual supervision by a very kind young man on his quad bike ride so that he did not miss out. The archery & shooting was excellent value for money, great fun & once again very well supervised with as much or as little help as you wanted. The whole afternoon was great fun for all ages & staffed by people who really care about their customers.

Booking is a must...you cannot just turn up. A fun place to visit if you have enough money to burn...it is a lot of money to spend, but not overpriced as the equipment, safety and instruction are really excellent! My husband and I did Clay Pigeon Shooting and Adult Quad Biking. The shooting was excellent and our instructor friendly and helpful. Quad Biking on the massive adult course was amazing, we were on 250cc Quads and we reached speeds on 50kph...the course was interesting, varied, exciting and challenging. The instructor was again excellent and friendly and pushed us all just enough. A little bonus piece of information - Prince William had his stag do here!

What a fantastic find while we were on holiday in North Devon, we had a warm welcome.
We took our 9 year old Daughter and she loved it, there was only one section which she had the option to opt out of which was a bit challenging. However, she had great fun with one of the instructors racing around a field and going through big puddles!! Which she loved!
We all had great fun and the course was interesting with different terain and challenges.
Help was at hand at all times.
Great family experience. Thank you and a special thank you to our instructor Christian.

I go clay shooting here at least twice a month with some work colleagues. we are always treated well and made to feel welcome. The cost for 50 sporting clays is very affordable, even better if you have your own shotgun and cartridges.
There are two sporting clay set ups one dedicated DTL and various rabbit and pheasant simulations.
Robert and Chris are both very knowledgeable and always willing to give advice.
Well worth a visit if you are in North Devon and want to shoot some clays or Air Rifle HFT.

My wife,2 teenage boys and myself visited this place in June 2013. We had to book as they do not cater for people just turning up. The price was quite high at £35 for adults and £25 for juniors, but it was well worth it. We started our adventure by getting kitted out with all the protective gear. Then we had a safety briefing. Then we were shown the quads and went around the nursery track to get familiarised with the quads. The instructor explained everything really well and when he was satisfied we were all competent he took us out into the wilderness. We were out then for 45mins and the places we went were fantastic. My wife was very nervous at first but the grin on her face at the end was worth every penny,

Looks a little shabby when you arrive but please don't be put off by this!
All of the staff were fantastic and really supportive as my son learnt to shoot clay pigeons for the first time - they really made him feel confident and he end up with 10 clays hit from 25 shots.
This was followed by archery and rolling down the hill in a large Zorb ball.
Great day and thanks to all of the staff (especially Jim) who made the day really memorable.
Thanks again

Don't be put off when you arrive, not the most attractive of places but definitely worth a visit.
It was my first experience of quad biking, my family had done it before and they were raring to go! Although I held them back as I wasn't fast enough, Jack our instructor was brilliant and made sure we all got the experience we wanted. Please note this isn't just going round and round a track you whizz off around a field and go through some woods, a great experience of what quad biking is about and I would imagine probably the best in Devon. Mum's don't sit on the side line get involved and I guarantee you'll have a great time. Thanks to Southdown Adventure and especially Jack, we will be back.

Visited here for my partners birthday. Done clay shooting and air rifling it was great fun. On arriving I questioned whether we was in the right place as it looks abandoned, but the experience of everything is what makes it. I booked way in advanced and a day before arriving they rang to change my time of day to start or not at all which wasn't ideal as I had other things planned but I worked around it.
All the guys there are really friendly and have a laugh with you while your there. The prices are not the worst as we had a really good time so made it worth it. All I would say is shut up for a month and work so hard at building a new reception instead of a shack and make the grounds visiting and not a dumping ground.
