It looked a bit scammy in the sense that is more of a tourist attraction than an actual market.
The actual market is pretty small and you need to buy coins in order to pay for your food. This system is explained at the entrance, but only in Indonesian.
The entrance fee of 30k IDR per person is not much, but combined with the effort of going there and the costs, it's really not worth it.
Incomparable to floating markets such as in Bangkok.

If you are curious about this super spacious place, your child will definitely be happy. But the entrance ticket price of 50 thousand per person / child is too expensive because you have to pay more per ride that we want. On average, you pay another 25 thousand-50 thousand inside.

**Floating Market Lembang – A Family-Friendly Destination with a Local Touch**
Floating Market Lembang in Bandung is a spacious leisure park that offers a variety of attractions and local culinary delights, making it an ideal spot for families.
Upon entering, we enjoyed a ride on a large traditional wooden boat that accommodates up to 20 people. The short tour around the pond helped us familiarise ourselves with the park's layout before exploring it on foot.
The highlight was the floating market, which, despite its name, is a row of food stalls perched above the pond. The variety of local dishes is impressive and affordable, but you’ll need to exchange cash for tokens to make purchases – perhaps a system to track stall transactions. The small portion sizes are perfect for sampling multiple dishes without wastage.
The park also has attractions like a rabbit petting area, though better crowd control is needed as children were seen chasing the rabbits. Other activities include go-karting, which was enjoyable and came with an option to purchase digital photos. However, the 3D cinema was disappointing, with poor-quality animation. The giant slide, approximately 50–100 metres long, adds a bit of excitement.
Facilities like a Muslim prayer area are a thoughtful addition. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot in Bandung for the food and family-friendly atmosphere, though some attractions could use improvements.

If you expect a floating marker like you often see in Asia, you will be disappointed. It is an amusement park for children. The park is beautifully landscaped, but it is a commercial tourist attraction. Nice to walk around for an hour, but nothing more

We came here on a weekend, and parking can be a nightmare. Also, the road leading in and out of the place is quite narrow, which contributed to the crawl.
The entrance fee includes a hot/cold drink, which you can select near the entrance or at the food area itself. Having been to the floating market in Thailand, this one is more organized, although one have to buy tokens for the food.
Every boat sells a different food item, so there is no redundancy. There are so many varieties of local delicacies to choose and savor. Food can be a bit pricey for its portion, though. However, the atmosphere makes up for it. There are ample eating areas for one to chow down after purchasing the food, and there are also other attractions on the lake, such as the geese farm, boat paddling, etc. However, didn't get a chance to try that, as it was raining on & off during my trip.
Good place to visit, but do it during the weekdays if possible, otherwise it'll be quite crowded.
Entrance fees are Rp10,000/pax on weekdays and Rp15,000/pax on weekends/public holidays.
Parking fees are Rp10,000/car,
Closed at 5pm on weekdays, and 8pm on weekends/public holidays.

I came from Surabaya, and I really enjoyed this park.
I found out many authentic and tradisional sundanese food here.
Price is acceptable.
Better to come here on summer or dry season to get perfect entertainment with family

There was only a few "mock up" boats selling some stuff .. not a real floating mkt where u see traders selling veg fruits & everythg u wld expect .. this was rather disappointing ..
The lake, though, was scenic .. what surprised us was the rainbow garden tt was filled w all types of flowers & plants .. it was indeed a lovely find, and compensated for the letdown of the floating mkt .. the entire area is a "built up" tourist trap .. :(( .. but the garden is worth the visit ... carefully planted & manicured landscape .. flowers in full bloom ..

According to the magazine I read, you should purchase the food from the boat onboard and eat it at the shore. In fact, you have to pay for the entry ticket that you can exchange with the coffee/tea/milo and the boats were not there.
It was just an empty pond with fake floating boats and you have to walk along the tracks to find the market is actually at the back.
The boats are basically already parked on the edges of the ramp/aka fake jetty in a shape of a square and surrounded by many seats where you can have your food undercover.
The way to purchase the food is by exchanging your monies with coins and the CATCH is to make sure you exchange them with the exact amount you need to use BECAUSE those can't be refunded back and exchange back to cash.
The foods are average local cuisines and I would rather eat them outside.
Plenty of toilets and there are rabbit area where kids can purchase baby carrots and feed the rabbits.
Other than that, this place is practically only suitable for families with kids.

There is a variety of food at the floating market. You will need to exchange your cash for tokens at the counters as most (if not all) of the stalls only accept tokens for purchases. Bear in mind that the tokens are not refundable if you do not spend all of it. The entrance ticket to the market entitles each person to a drink (choice of coffee, milo, lemon tea, mocha latte, etc).

kalo dari stasiun kereta bandung, terus mau ke lembang (naik elf) itu butuh waktu berapa jam ya? kalau di google maps 45menit, tapi orang2 bilang katanya lembang itu macettt, jadi yang bener yang mana yyaa?
Written April 20, 2019
They are both correct.
If you head from the train station to Floating Market on a normal weekday not during the rush hour then it is possible to get there is 45 minutes or one hour. However, during rush hour there will be jams right outside the train station until you reach Jalan Cipaganti so that will cause some delay. Also, on Friday mornings after 11.15am there is a mosque on Jalan Cipaganti and the road closes so you are forced to take detours on smaller roads that also get traffic jams.
If you plan to visit Floating Maret on weekends or public holidays then the traffic jams can be very serious and you should head to Floating Market very early in the morning because the Lembang road becomes very jammed. Places like the Farmhouse create big jams as people are trying to find a place to park on the roadside or trying to park inside their carpark.
Heading back into Bandung city from Lembang on weekends and public holidays gets macet near Setiabudi area all the way down to past Cihampelas and down to Jalan Riau. So definitely better if you visit Lembang on a weekday and not on public holiday.
People who live in Bandung try to not visit Lembang on weekends.

kalau mau ke Lembang dengan rombongan 30 orang dari jakarta enaknya transportasinya gimana ya?

The best recommendation so far is that you can use the services of a Java Private Tour, you can search for it on google or this tripadvisor application.

Hi Omar,
Just basing off my own experience; I think taking a cab there should be fine. I don't remember the cab fares being expensive.
Aside from the floating market, there is a flower garden, flying fox and archery. Alternatively you could first head to "Dusun Bamboo Leisure Park" during the day and then head to the floating market in the evening.
Hope that helps.
