Just finished a week on 'bella' and would recommend to any couple looking for their first narrowboat holiday. Bella is only 45ft long so is really easy to manage and simple to manoeuvre which is vital for your first time out. Bella is really well...More

Rented Flying Fox from Foxhangers. The toilets smelt awful from the start. Three days in someone was dispatched to Bath to add chemicals to cover the stench. Two days later it was as bad as before. Mystery foul water in front shower on the third...More

Taking the horse drawn canal boat is a wonderful way to see the wildlife and interesting places along the route. We even enjoyed afternoon tea with homemade cake aboard.

We just returned from a week on the K&A on a Foxhangers boat, the Tibetan fox. 2 adults, 4 children ranging from 6 years old, to 13 years old. Amazing week. Foxhangers gave us a 2 hour walk-through of the boat, and how to operate...More

Although we thoroughly enjoyed our overall experience, the weather was kind and the route was perfect, the boat left a lot to be desired. Our trip started off badly. We arrived at the right time and my brother in law spoke to reception about where...More

We rode our bikes from Seend to Bath and back, about 40 miles, along a very well maintained tow and cycle path. The people we met were most friendly especially the lock keepers who gave us loads of information about the canal, its workings and...More

We traveled to the flight and then turned around as this was our trip and went to Bath on a five day break which was more than enough time. I would recommend two active people on the lock gates for comfort.
